More moments like this next season...

I really don't know how any Kenny haters could "not" like this scene. It was the best scene from Season 2 in my opinion.

My favourite part of this moment, was how Clementine's impulse to hug Kenny diffused an otherwise tense situation.

It's like... guns drawn and ready, people pissed off and yelling, all hell about to break loose between two groups... then, a little girl rushes forward and hugs him (as if you didn't do this haha!) and suddenly everything is alright, the fighting stops. Truly the most amazing scene from a game i've ever seen. I just hope there will be new characters next season in which Clem will feel close to as she did with Lee and Kenny.

And your welcome to have more Kenny bonding scenes in season 3, thankfully as someone who cant stand Kenny he is a frozen corpse in my game who cant bother clementine anymore

And in response to this scene I was rolling my eyes all the way through at how on earth it made any sense that Kenny wasnt dead

  • I liked that scene, something I feel only Telltale could pull off. But people have a hatred for Kenny so strong that nothing he will do will be redeemable in their eyes.

  • More sentimental scenes on that scale would be great

At its base, it's a great scene on it's own that carries a lot of weight and poignancy to it

More hugs would be good. But I always thought that moment with Clem hugging Kenny was strange. They had no bond in Season 1 and after Clem witnessed Kenny smashing Larry's head, she had no reason to ever like or hug him.

  • Hopeful more scenes like this but Im sure Kenny will be killed off Camera

  • I didn't hug him so no, I wasn't moved by that scene. But it is nice.

  • Yes, a moving scene. I hugged him straight away.

  • I think Telltale was banking off of how you (the player) felt about Kenny in S1. Looking back Clem has very little interaction with Kenny in S1, but we know there are times when the player wasn't there to witness any bonding between characters. For example Mark just showing up in episode 2 and how he became quick buddies with Lee. I guess it's just easier to think that Clem and Kenny did get along back then even if it didn't show up in game, especially since Clem can get along so well with Duck and Katjaa, why not Kenny it is HIS family after all.

  • I couldn't agree more. Season Two might have it's flaws and inconsistencies, but that scene right there pales all of those niggles into insignificance.

I also agree that Season Three should have more of them. Simple reason being, yes it maybe the apocalypse and Walkers could be round any corner ready to chew your face off, but there should always been room for emotion like this.

In fact in my experience, family and friends bonds become much much stronger in the face of adversity. So there would be more instances like the one above, not less.
