  • That's why Sarah's second death bothered me so much. The circumstances behind leaving her for dead in the trailer park (beyond the absurd idea that slapping a traumatized person will bring them to their senses) feel plausible within the setting. But having her conveniently fall under a deck; having no one other than Jane bother to lift a finger to help her; having a frickin' PLANK fall on Jane's head; the complete lack of reaction to hearing a teenaged girl get eaten alive - all those contrivances add up to making her death a farce rather than a tragedy.

This is hitting the nail on so many heads. The writers seemingly punish you for making decisions they didn't want you to make. Most of Seaso

  • Alvin is a zombie stuck wandering around Howe's.

Rebecca's a frozen corpse hunched over a discarded tire.

Nick's a mutilated body stuck in a fence in some lonely trailer park.

Pete's a disemboweled carcass with a bullet in his skull.

Carlos is, in all likelihood, nothing but bits of gristle and bone.

Sarah is likely to have been dismembered and, in some circumstances, is probably a crushed corpse trapped underneath rubble.

Luke is just another zombie under a lake.

Awww, you even have a little Pete one. How cute.

  • That all sounds horrible :/

Yeah, what you said. The Cabin Group is the most screwed over. Now they're all walkers...

  • I actually refused to slap Sarah in my first playthrough. Because in just the previous episode, Craver forces Carlos to do the same thing. That's right! The writers of this game expected you to sympathise with Craver! And because I didn't want to slap a grieving teenage girl across the face; the game kills her (and people say GTA makes psychopaths.)

And her second death?! The thing I hate most about it is how quickly everything goes back to normal after it happens. Seriously, she dies and then we are all suppose to forget about that because AJ's being born. I kept expecting to hear Sarah cry out for help while I was holding the baby. We're all just comfortable and snug and Sarah's still screaming out in pain just a few feet away. Maybe even Jane yelling out "Shut up, I'm a bitch!" and then the group all laugh and talk about that Raccoon they saw.

  • Because Carver, despite evidence that he was actually just a sociopathic bully, has to be construed as "a man who makes tough decisions" because we are all morally repugnant bastards.

Honestly, Season 2 revealed a lot more about the fan-base than I'm comfortable with.

  • I think Season 2 revealed a lot more about the writers themselves as well.

  • He only had one episode after he got death sentenced. I just felt like everything was Ben's fault from the first game. It was so out there in my opinion, no wonder he kept screwing up, if you had that little self confidence like Ben, where everyone calls you a screw up, you might start believing it.

Ben was a 17 year old kid, and he got treated like shit.

While Ben was screwed over IN-GAME, out of game he was incredibly focal from his introduction to his departure. He is even one of the few characters who isn't backgrounded after becoming determined.

  • Nick, if you save him he becomes a piece of furniture

So you noticed that odd-looking chair that kept following us around in episode 3 too? Shit's creepy man

  • Yes, I see your point. But if you look at the big picture, he still had a character arc; something not a lot of characters had. More so, that one episode extra he had gave him a total of four; making him just behind Kenny in the season 1 most used character list (non-Lee or Clem). Again, in the story he is practically bullied. But on the billing, he is at the top of the cast.

  • You forgot option 3 with Bonnie when she tells you to go save luke and when you do try but when he dies and after they take clem into that house to get warm bonnie will say that clem tried to save him but Bonnie does not blame clem and later you have a chance to talk to her while she is smoking and the first thing she will say is want one asking clem if she wants a cigarette and they will talk a little bit but yes she still does leave cause she did not want to be around kenny and in this option when it comes to clem gets shot by arvo Bonnie will end up saying she did not mean for this to happen and when mike goes over there to get Bonnie she actually tells him dont touch me

  • I'm going to choose to take that as a compliment :)
