A few short Months ago, America was rocked, when Beth, A character who never did anything bad at all, Made her first angry move, and Was shot and Killed. and Daryl soon after killed the woman who did it. Now, We thought after the heartless move Robert Kirkman had just pulled, it couldn't get any worse. Well, we were wrong, Because Last sunday, Tyreese was scouting, and got distracted, and a Walker got him. And some of you know, He didn't make it. I'm here to talk about Tyreese and what he went through.

We first Met Tyreese in Season 3, Protecting His Friends from a herd, and Carl let them in, Soon after, he joined rick and the others leading an attack on woodbury, Finding Andrea dead. In season 4, Tyreese had grown on us a bit, But the virus caused some problems for this gentle giant. This was it, the final moments of Tyreese, He saw all the people He loved, and some of the People he hated, But was gets me, How come the governor was making him fight? Because He's a good man. Blinded by stupid descisions. and He made one thing right, and that was trying to save him... But, Tyreese died, and the last thing he saw was everyone he loved, except for sasha.... and This mans Last words, Were... "Unlike you, I know right from wrong, ya hear me? • Could you change the title? It gives spoilers

I needed to change your title slightly as it contained a spoiler for people who might not be up to date with the show. I added your original title to the top of your post as a header.

  • Thanks Ozzy! ^_^

  • Never really liked him and then started to actively dislike him by season 5. The character was always a bit back and forth plus I never liked the scene they failed to get right when he fights off the horde with his hammer, the walkers are literally just stood there next to him.

The death was well done and was a good callback to other characters. Compared to beths stupidly done death this was well done and it reflects well on the show as it has been overall improving immensly since season 3

  • And that's your opinion man, I respect it. I think your cool, But i mean come on! I can't be the only person on this site who thinks tyreese was awesome!

  • Even if Tyreese annoyed me at certain points, I have a lot of respect for him. Holding on to the kind of goodness he had is HARD in that world. I know the world they're in calls for no mercy if you want to survive so it made people really angry when he showed any mercy to people who didn't deserve it, or even people who did, but put in life in danger by doing so. They called his mercy stupidity. Maybe it was. But maybe it was something to be admired. We always hear about how humans are simultaneously the most horrible and the most amazing beings. This show has a strong emphasis on the unspeakable actions humans are capable of, and whether or not becoming more cruel means you're losing your humanity or just giving into the darker parts of it. Tyreese refused to give in, and in doing so, showcased the immense capacity for kindness we humans are capable of. His mercy highlighted the others' callousness or downright cruelty, and the show was made stronger for it. I'm not saying his decisions were the right ones by any means, but they certainly were the kindest. Also, he is one of those characters that is supposed to make you stop and take a look at yourself. We like to think we're civilized but if we're sitting here hating Tyreese for being a good person and calling his goodness a weakness, what does that say about us? What does it say about our ability to prioritize being morally good over selfishness, and how easy might it become to kill to protect ourselves? Most of the characters have stopped feeling guilty about killing fellow humans who possibly pose a threat, I can't blame them, feeling guilty is exhausting. But Tyreese still feels guilty, and the fact that he hasn't turned that feeling off is an incredible show of strength. This episode was incredibly emotional, but a good sendoff.

Also, you have to just love him for taking out an entire room full of walkers on his own. BAMF.
