I hope the writers/producers grow some balls and not have him survive the whole series or whatever. The show can easily live on without him, they should have him killed off by Negan when he comes. It'd be the best introduction for the character.

When did Merle get beaten up?
If you're referring to that fight with Glenn , back at the prison, it looked to me like Merge held his own.
I don't remember any of the Governor's men getting a hold of him.
Back when Merle had two hands. Having just one, was a huge disadvantage, and Merle's fight with the Governor proved that.
I don't th… moreink it's very fair to judge him based on his fight with the Governor, considering it really wasn't a straight up one-on-one fight. It was more of the Governor taking advantage of the fact that Merle had just gotten the shit kicked out of him (plus hit over the head) by Martinez and some other guy while he was on the ground after killing a walker. That's why the Governor just kind of tossed him around after he stepped into the fight, plus he landed several cheap shots himself. Merle really wasn't in a position to do much fighting back. Overall he would probably be better off having his other hand, but I still think a match up with Shane would be pretty interesting.

go look at the wiki or read the comics and you'll know why eugene won't die i would agree with abraham but his relationship with rick is just not good enough to have an impact and glenn is too predictable plus like abraham he just doesn't have that relationship with rick that is in the comic plus glenn was a fan favourite in the comic he isn't exactly in the tv show daryl is literally the best option to bring negan in with a bang show all those fangirls that he is better and he is not to be fucked with, unless they do some last minute rick/glenn or rick/abraham bonding it won't be them
that is a bit of a stretch the only ones who should be safe are rick and maybe carl depending what they do with him in the comic since some shit is going down with carl atm but then again they could change all that

I think her character is interesting.
Plus, and this goes without saying, she is gorgeous.
In my opinion, next to Andrea and Beth, Maggie is prettiest girl on the show.
And I like Glenn.
I think his development as a character has been very interesting.
Sure he started off as geeky, but in an annoying kind of way.
And now, he's got some pretty good social skills, and his self-confidence has become strong as well.
But as far as Eugene, personally at this point, I just find him very annoying.
The guy never shuts up!
He just goes on and on.

When they showed him sleeping with his BF's wife, after Rick had only allegedly been dead for a few months, that to me proved that Shane was a snake.
Out of respect for the dead, the right thing for Shane, or anyone to do in that type of situation, would be to wait longer then a few months before beginning a relationship with his BF's widow.

i'm implying that daryl will be the best option for negan to kill and i'm telling you why it most likely won't be those people you mentioned it would really make his entrance a whole lot better if it is daryl if it is glenn that dies the comic readers will be like yea that happened and the most show watchers will not be as shocked as they were meant to be cause glenn is exactly a fan favorite

Eugene is actively disliked at this point, the only people hated more than him are Noah and Gabriel, if he died people would be happy if anything.
Also they could kill them but they wouldnt have the same impact in that spot
Not to mention since Daryl hasnt had a storyline since season 2, everything else has centered around merle or beths arcs. And since season 3 Daryl got turned into a superhero who can do stuff that defies logic. Him dying at that moment would be the entrance I'd want for the new villan, Glenn wouldnt have that same impact.
Who cares if she pretty or not? I know it won't be Maggie since she's still alive in the comics. I liked Maggie and Glenn in the beginning but I find them super boring. But that could be cuz the gang has been separated for so long so my feelings may change.
