Pre Season 3 Family Discussion
I consider us a family by virtue of our common love and enjoyment for TWD. When I first joined the forum, I used to enjoy being on for hours, but as season 2 progressed I became distant because there was too much disrespect and complaining. What are some things we should (or should not) do during season 3 to keep the peace and make the forum enjoyable for everyone?

We should remember to respect each others opinions. And focus more on talking about what we like about Season 3 instead of what we don't like.
A lot of uneasiness came from people spoiling the choices in the episodes that were about to come out due to hackers. But Telltale and the mods got that shit on lock-down now (I hope).
Well i'll create one huge discussion that will come live at the launch of S3E01. We will keep it nice there with rules, fun, moderators, and everyone will have a great time!...
^ if only....
If we complain about things we don't like about Season 3, we should do it respectively and constructively.
We should respect people's opinions about characters in the game and have less someone vs someone threads (Kenny vs Jane, for example)
Not over criticize the season or episode. That happened way too much with season 2. Sure, say what you think needs to be said but people way overdid it with season 2, this goes hand in hand with respecting others opinions. Blindly believing that something factually is bad because you think it's bad is what a lot of people did with season 2, and that got really annoying to me (I'm sure others as well) because I actually enjoyed it.
Yeah I understand what you mean. A lot of people think their opinion is fact, which is very arrogant.
Another thing for me is when starting a new thread, keep it below 2 paragraphs. I never really entertain LOOOOOONG posts unless I see they have a bunch (40+) likes, then I say, "ok lets see what the fuss/hype is about".
Season three is going to be far calmer because people won't have biases about recurring characters which inevitably lead to non-constructive debates.
I think we should all be more open-minded about other people's opinions and decisions. It never hurts to hear a different perspective.
Not looking so much into tiny details or being dissapointed when the story doesnt go exactly where you want it
Remember to always show RESPECT for each other, even if we disagree.
