Arvo Season 3 foreshadowing?

So we all know, Arvo shot Clementine. But think about this, he is now just out there with Mike (and Bonnie but that depends on your choice) and could possibly still be holding onto that weird grudge against Clem... What if he is a bigger part of Season 3? We meet him again and he secretly has a plan to kill Clementine? I can't think of a situation where this would occur but it's interesting to think up ideas for Season 3!

I don't know, I had this thought on the bus on the way home and it sounded plausible at the time, but reading it back it sounds kinda dumb? Maybe I'm terrible at typing things out? Haha, anyway what do you think? Dumb or possible?

  • I dont think Arvo is secretly planning to go find Clementine and kill her

  • I don't mean that, as I said I'm bad at explaining my ideas, haha.

I meant that Clementine and Arvo's paths cross ways once again and Arvo's weird hatred is rediscovered? I'm not sure.

  • I agree, it seems like such a waste of a character though. Mind you Season 2 wasted many opportunities when you think about it!

  • It looks like its going to happen whether we want it to or not but tbh I don't even care I mean there are more interesting characters to use just after the "Can I go with you" option I don't even know what to think

  • I hope we see him again....

  • He probably thinks he did. Mike, Bonnie and Arvo never saw Clementine get up and they left her to die.

  • They're going around thinking they're the reason a child is dead... Ouch.

Meh they don't care. Did you see how they left?

I doubt it. When Arvo shot her it looked like it was a knee-jerk decision even if she doesn't call for help considering the shocked look on his face right after he pulls the trigger. If anything, they probably already believe her to be dead. I am interested in seeing if they feel guilt for what they did and if it is eating them up inside, but who the hell knows. Sometimes I want the three of them to come back, but if they do, it will likely be to set up some cheap torture-revenge scene the fandom wants so badly, and if that is the case then as far as I'm concerned I'd rather just never waste time on Arvo again.

Sometimes I wonder if he's still with Bonnie and Mike, they may have abandoned him after he shot her, but once again, who the hell knows.

  • It's possible. But I think Arvo might be gone forever. If he does appear again and Clem's the protagonist, maybe he'll apologize for what he did.

  • We meet him again and he secretly has a plan to kill Clementine?

If we meet him again, I'm sure he won't have time to make plans...

  • Arvo most likely thinks she's dead, and frankly, I hope he doesn't come back. If he does, I better be given the option to kill that fucking shitbird, along with Mike and Bonnie (determinant), but unless the writers can find a way to actually make them matter to the story and simply not put them in due to fan pandering, then I don't want them back. If they were to appear, I'd like the way we treat them to have a huge impact if we are with other people. Like if you kill them, your group will become afraid of you, or if you show mercy and forgiveness, they like you or something. But it is highly likely they will come back considering how they took out the ability to shoot Mike.

  • They didn't want to get killed because of Arvo's fuck-up. No matter who you piss off, either Bonnie or Mike will clearly show concern for Clem...

  • Oh if we see him again...grabs gun

  • I doubt he'll get away with it.

Although, there's a possibility he will if you go with Jane. They were on foot and if you go with Jane, you're back in the South. If you're on your own or Kenny, the chances are high you'll cross paths with him/them. And as someone said before, he won't have time to plan things. He thinks that he killed Clementine and Mike actually gives a shit. He didn't have a problem with Clem, he actually liked her. Kenny was his problem.

If he does show up, he's going to die without a doubt.

I hope he returns as he's one of my favorite characters. But if they just bring him back for a petty revenge scene to satisfy people here, then no, keep him unknown.

I don't think it's possible we will see them if we are with Kenny, the three of them (At least Bonnie and Mike) specifically did not want to go up north, and if you leave with Kenny, I think it is safe to assume that Clem and Kenny don't wander too far from Wellington so they can be close by if any open spots show up. Unless the three of them suddenly changed their minds and decided to go up north, which I doubt, then if Clem is with Kenny the chance of seeing them is slim. When Jane brought up going to Howe's I believe Mike's exact words were, "fuck that" and Arvo might not know where Howe's is located. I think the best chance we have of meeting up with them is in the alone ending, but I'm not even sure where Clem is at in that one.

He didn't have a problem with Clem, he actually liked her.

Until he thought that she 'murdered' his sister. After that he held a grudge and the game didn't let her talk to him and clear it up.
