That's their punishment for their stupidity.

Yeah I did and I don't regret it. A car filled with supplies is a gold mine in a zombie apocalypse and I wasn't going to throw away that opportunity. I didn't know the people who were in the car were still alive or not, probably dead since again this is a zombie apocalypse where you're more likely to be part of the dead than the living.

If we didn't steal that food, bandits or someone else would have stolen the stuff anyway. They also left the doors of the car wide open, not even bothering to switch off the lights in case it would attract attention and kept the key in the car. What did the stranger expect? He didn't have the right to judge me, he had his wife's zombie head in a bowling bag and he was speaking to it. Why should we get judged by a madman who told a little girl that he knew where her parents were, giving her false hope and then kidnapping her even though she didn't have anything to do with the theft of the supplies.

  • I didn't steal, because I had just killed the St Johns and I felt bad enough. However I didn't guess that the stranger was the car owner until he told me. I wish the end was different if you chose not to steal the car...

  • The car was left abandoned with the doors wide open and the keys in the ignition. I took the stuff, but it was NOT STEALING.

  • I took the supplies because A) The car was abandoned with no one around. B) The group needed those supplies and in any kind of apocalypse, those who aren't preppers have to do what they can to survive. C) You can't afford to the survival of other's ahead of your group.

  • I took the supplies, we needed them and honestly, if you were stupid enough to leave your car running in the middle of the road and full of food, what do you expect? Surprisingly though, I didn't steal from Arvo. Maybe because of the Stranger taking revenge on the group?

  • I still don't understand why the stranger decided to leave the car in the middle of the road like that, even with they keys still in it and door open. The fuck did he think would happen?

  • Wait, you felt bad for killing the St. Johns?

  • Well, someone did own the stuff. I suppose you could call it unintentional stealing.

  • I think I kinda had that mentality too, but I also didn't want to screw his sister over if he was telling the truth

I took that as him leaving in a hurry....that could a been when he son went missing and he leaves with his wife go to look for him

  • Yes. I mean Good Lord, the guy was pretty much asking for it. Leaves the keys in the ignition and the doors wide open. Zombie apocalypse or not, that's fucking stupid.

  • Nope. "Looters die." is the best form of social agreement we have at this point. Don''t loot. There's an obvious difference between looting and scavenging

  • I suppose that makes sense, but he should have took at least 2 seconds to take the keys out and lock the door.

  • it wasn't looting. to the group's knowledge it didn't belong to anyone. there wasn't anyone there to claim it besides them.

    Finder's keepers, losers weepers

  • I don't know. Maybe it's what Aerie88 suggested, but seriously I still wouldn't do that even if I was in a hurry. Switch off the lights and engine so you don't attract zombies. Jesus. Thinking about it now, it was a really dumb move.

  • You had to look at Arvo when you stole from him- you knew t was stealing. But with the Strangers car there's no one there. And yes, if you stole from the Stranger and he took revenge then you might not do the same with Arvo, hoping things will be different. Shame that he tries to rob you either way :/

I took it because we needed it. Also, it is not my fault that some fool decided to leave all that goodie unguarded.

It would be like me finding a Benjamin on the ground. I am sure somebody owns that Benjamin, but it still goes into my pocket.

  • Yeah I took his stuff.

  • Oh yeah, I forgot about that! It has been a while since i've played through season 2. I still want to know why he was hiding the medicine in the bin though!

  • Yeah, I guess he must have hid the medicine, that I let him keep, from his group (I imagine that's what he was doing at the bin) and then blamed Clem and Jane? Kind of makes you rethink the whole being nice to him thing, doesn't it?

Yeah, but living people being so scarce...they were out in the woods...what are the chances someone would find it? Also, the fact that the keys were left in the ignition and the lights on...if your kid went missing out in the woods full of rotters, you're not gonna be thinking too rationally...the most important thing would be to find your lost kin, not secure your hideout from passers-by

I suppose that makes sense, but he should have took at least 2 seconds to take the keys out and lock the door.

  • I felt bad because I did it in front of Clem

Wait, you felt bad for killing the St. Johns?
