Why do a lot of people hate Lily
She made one mistake. It was a shit time and she lost it it was a lot for her. Now I know it doesn't excuse it but really who hasn't made a mistake

So true. There is nobody in the Walking Dead world that hasn't made one or many.
Also, it's me, I've gained compassion for this woman and pray with all my might, she returns and is given a proper role in Season 3.
Well, some people hate her because she killed Carley/Doug. Others hate her because she defends Larry. Others hate her because she bashes heads with Kenny. Others hate her because insert reason here. Personally, I thought she was a pretty interesting character.

I hate what she did, but I don't personally hate her because her situation is similar to Kenny. She was never one of my favorites, but I wouldn't go as far to say I hate her, I'm more indifferent to her.

Honestly i just didn't like her overall personality from the start. Never agreed with her on much things, never liked anything she did, and she overall didn't seem like something id want to be around. Zombie apocalypse or not
I didn't hate her. I liked her a lot, actually...but I didn't let her come with us in ep 3. Murder isn't just "a mistake". not that kenny is any better, he murderd larry, but at least that was sort of justified. although, you have to think about what lilly did vs. what lee did. lee murdered someone, too! and it wasn't the guy he murdered's fault, lee's wife could have easily been lying and saying she was single.
Considering the fact that she killed my second favorite character:((((, I would still forgive her if I saw her again. She made a bad mistake after loosing the only person she cared about.
I don't hate her; I know she meant well and that she was paranoid, but her attitude just annoyed me so much. Her leaving with the RV was the final nail in the coffin.

I don't hate her, but I didn't agree with many of her arguments. That's the reason why I sided with Kenny most of the time. It was either her way or no way.
Yes you could say the same thing about Kenny, but it's all down to personal preference.
The biggest problem I have with Lily is that no matter how much you agree with her, no matter how much you help her Father, or go out your way to defend her position or point of view. In the end, she betrays you, by revealing your past.
Say what you will against Kenny, he doesn't do that.
He will bad mouth you, and even go so far as to not help you find Clementine. However, he doesn't abandon you in the middle of nowhere, like Lilly does. I mean, she doesn't know if the train is operational. So in my opinion, she leaves people, including two children at the mercy of the Walkers.
