  A New Day vs. All That Remains

  • Both are great episodes, but I feel A New Day really sets up the series quite well despite being slow in some areas. All that Remains is great, I didn't enjoy it the first time I played it, but every time I do, it gets better and has really grown on me, I just have to give it to the original on this one.

  Starved for Help vs. A House Divided

  • Starved for Help is overrated in my opinion. There were a lot of great choices, but other than Larry's death and Ben joining the group, not much important happens. A House Divided introduced Carver and had some great choices and also had the return of Kenny. The final 10 minutes of this episode are nerve racking and was brilliantly written.

  Long Road Ahead vs. In Harms Way

  • I'm probably the only one who thinks this, but In Harms Way is far better than Long Road Ahead. LRA is overly long and has my all time least favorite sequences in TWD. FUCK THAT TRAIN. In Harms Way is underrated and Carver is a really great and well written villain. One of my all time favorite moments is watching that son of a bitch die and the herd scene is great as well.

  Around Every Corner vs. Amid the Ruins

  • Frankly, these are both my least favorite episodes from each season, and while I enjoy playing Amid the Ruins more, Around Every Corner is much better written. Amid the Ruins had a lot of problems, but I don't hate it, the same goes for Around Every Corner, I just don't like them as much as the other episodes.

  No Time Left vs. No Going Back

  • My top 2 favorite episodes from the series, but No Time Left will most likely remain my undisputed favorite episode from the entire series. Both episodes I feel are phenomenal, despite some bullshit moments from each episode, but No time Left has one of the most emotional endings of all time. No Going Back is a close second on my list though.

  yeah, i'll have to disagree. i liked in harms way, but long road ahead is one of my favorite episodes of all time :P

  S1 EP1 vs. S2 EP1 (I felt season 1 episode 1 was extremely slow and at times a drag to get through, All That Remains was better but not by much though)

  S1 EP2 vs. S2 EP2 (These 2 were both Godly but I felt A House Divided was paced much better than Starved for Help.)

  S1 EP3 vs. S2 EP3 (Despite my slight dislike for In Harms Way, fuck that train puzzle so automatic win for In Harms Way)

  S1 EP4 vs. S2 EP4 (I love both dearly [both in my top 3 TWD episodes] but I thought the original episode 4 was better, pretty much cause I loved Crawford)

  S1 EP5 vs. S2 EP5 (No Going Back is my alltime favorite TWD episode so it had to beat No Time Left but I still think No Time Left is amazing, especially because of that ending)

  Keep in mind I love all the episodes a lot, so picking favorites barely does the other ones the justice they deserve. Great idea on the bolding thing btw :P

  S1 EP1 vs. S2 EP1 (AND was too much setup and is tedious to replay. While I didn't really like ATR to begin with, I've warmed up to it and it's now my second favourite of Season 2 regardless of flaws).

  S1 EP2 vs. S2 EP2 (Tough choice. My two favourite episodes of the series. AHD ended up winning out because SFH has a few puzzle segments that are a little boring when you know what you're doing).

  S1 EP3 vs. S2 EP3 (While they're both good, I have to pick IHW. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I'm not a huge fan of LRA. It's weird, because so much happens in LRA yet the train puzzle and the 'find the meds package' stuff really prevents me from being excited about what's to come.)

  S1 EP4 vs. S2 EP4 (Hopefully I don't have to explain my disdain for Amid The Ruins. I'll never play it again if I can avoid it.)

  S1 EP5 vs. S2 EP5 (Big fan of NTL, NGB is too flawed for me to want to play again, much like Amid The Ruins.)
