Yes, I was able to download Episode 1 of Tales from the Borderlands. Just didn't allow me to download the season pass, or even show the season pass under the manage section on the Telltale Games Collection page on the market. It did however, let the Game of Thrones season pass download instantly. Thank you for taking the time to reply so quickly.

My apologies, can you please clarify if you are able to download Episode 1 of Tales From The Borderlands (separate from the Season Pass) by

  • Same issues, just bought the Collection but no Borderlands' Season Pass. The only thing that doesn't work is that, the rest is fine.

  • Yes, the episode downloaded just fine for me as well, it's just the Borderlands season pass that's the issue. No issues with getting the Game of Thrones season pass, that downloaded no problem.

  • Yup, same here! Bought the Telltale collection, downloaded everything fine & working except Season pass for Tales!

Thank you all for providing the extra information. Please note that if you have purchased the Collection, the Season Pass is included, and you do in fact own it. We are currently working with Microsoft to update the Store Page to show your ownership of the Season Pass, and hope to have more information in the near future.

  • I've just bought the Telltale Games Collection about 15 mins ago on the Xbox One. As others have said, the Borderlands Season Pass isn't downloading (Episode 1 is though) and according to the Xbox Store it hasn't been purchased as it doesn't appear in the 'manage' section of the console and requires another payment to download.

Why is this still happening if it first started the best part of a month ago?

  • I just bought them and I am having this problem is there any news ?

  • I have bought the game through the Telltale collection as it was on sale on the Xbox One market. It says on the store page under the game contents that it includes the season pass for TFTBL, but when I click on it, it says I have to buy it. This normally wouldn't bug be, but I've already spent a lot of money on the product package as it is, I don't want to spend even more money to get the season pass again. I'm really hoping that the season pass for this game will appear soon. I am super excited to try out the game (after I catch up on The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us), I just want to make sure that people who bought the season pass for the game (separately or through the collection) will eventually get it without having to spend even more money.

  • Never mind, I should've read all the comments before I posted. It's good to see this issue is being resolved. You guys are awesome! I should've jumped on the Telltale bandwagon sooner! I love this studio!

  • @TelltaleMike , there are a lot of threads concerning this, and was wondering if you could link us a thread for centralized status updates on this ongoing issue. Thanks.

  • Thread: Tales from the Borderlands Season Pass Glitch (Xbox One)

Telltale the Season pass glitch for Tales from the Borderlands is still broken. If you go and check the season pass it is still telling you to purchase it even though you should get it with the Telltale bundle, This bug has been here since the first episode came out.

  • Thread: Telltale Bundle Problem

Have they fixed the issue with the TFTB Season Pass issue yet?

  • The Season Pass from the Telltale Bundle is tied to your account. As the content becomes available, you'll be able to download it.

  • Yea I have that problem too I hope they fix that Glitch on Xbox One.Also When is Telltales going to release Episode 2 for Tales From The Borderlands?

  • I Just bought the collection and I'm having the same issue. I understand that you are saying we own it, the problem I'm seeing is unlike GoT where it actually queues up the season pass to download, it does not do the same for borderlands so in my download history it DID NOT download the season pass.

  • How is it tied to your account when the xbox never actually downloads the pass? For GoT the X1 actually queues up and downloads the season pass file. It does not do this for TFTB Season Pass.

  • Thread: Question about the TellTale Bundle Season pass

So I know that the current statement is that the episodes will work once available as somewhere it's flagged that we own the pass even though the store says purchase. The issue I noticed though is when everything queued up to download, it never queued up the season pass file. If that doesn't get downloaded to my xbox then how will the system know that I own the pass once episode 2 is available? When I go into the DLC menu it says BUY for the season pass so the game is not recognizing that I own the pass.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently working with Microsoft to update the Season Pass so that it is displayed as Owned if you have purchased the Season Pass either individually, or in the Telltale Collection bundle. Please note that you do in fact own the Season Pass, and will be able to download Episode Two when it is released.

  • Im having the same problem. I bought the Telltale game bundle which included the borderlands season pass but it says I do not own it. It keeps telling me to purchase the pass. I hope it will be fixed in the coming week so I can enjoy episode 2.

Can you please clarify if after updating to the latest version of the game, the Season Pass shows in-game as 'Purchased'? Or does it still say 'Buy' on the Episodes Menu?

If you are still currently seeing 'Buy' inside the Episodes Menu, could you please provide your Xbox Gamertag, and the email address associated with your Xbox Live account in a Private Message/Discussion to me? (To send a Private Discussion, click on a Username, and click on Private Discussion on the left hand side of the User's profile page.)

  • Yeah, it's still not fixed. It's been over 3 months now and it's getting ridiculous.
