An option will pop up in episode 5 to give them to Luke for his bullet wound in the leg at the first place they rest. He is very grateful, giving a different/unique line of dialogue. If you don't give it to him, then that's it, won't need them anymore. Hope that helps!

You have the option to give them to Luke but I have no idea what happens to them if you don't give them to Luke. Maybe they just get lost forever.
