Thoughts anyone? If it is a DLC, what do you think it will be about? I just hope it isn't a Pinball game expansion and not a DLC for the game haha.

  • I doubt it's a pinball game, if it was they would actually announce the news rather than tease it. That would just be practically begging for cries of outrage from disappointed fans, lol. For the build up, it has to be something to do with the main game.

I'm thinking it's either following what happened with Clem and Christa during the 16 months as that has been a popular request among fans or to tie up the different endings leading in to season 3.

  • DLC probably like 400 days to tired waiting for the walking dead season 3 news

  • As I just posted coincidentally in a similar thread: A DLC with an actual meaning to the overall story would be nice, some kind of link between the seasons, ergo NOT something like 400 Days. As it is, I think they have should have their hands full with finding a new direction for season 3.

  • This Time hopefully with built-up Tension that goes somewhere. With an Impact that you can label as such.

  • Hopefully its not another pinball or poker thing and an actual dlc

It'll be titled as 800 Days, with a new cast of one-dimensional characters, starring: yet another escaped convict, a basement dweller gaming nerd, a straw feminist soccer mom, a teenaged hipster, a bimbo prostitute, and a magical negro archetype.

Each character goes through the same individual story arc right down to setting them up to appearing in Season 3 as yet another cheap cameo appearance...then they all abruptly die in the end, with a Telltale logo laughing at you while thanking you for purchasing a pointless DLC game.

  • Maybe a DLC on how Kenny survived (depending on who he saved) and how Christa and Omid found Clementine.

people theory it will be some kind of cabin group backstory to give the cabin group more character expansion on em

and they also theory 16 months dlc they also theory it will be kenny leading up to season 2 episode 2 events

  • Prequel DLC on cabin group please! ;_;

  • The way they described it I found any prequel DLC quite unlikely, really...

Yes because 400 Days didn't take place during any time before, during or after Season 1 o.o prequels aren't unheard of you know.

But Telltale are being vague as anything; they might be releasing Clementine socks for all we know that's how vague they are right now XD

  • "Theory" is not a verb.

I use that site for a dictionary on words more than I do from my actual copy of a dictionary XD

  • I'd love a DLC which gives us answers as to what happened to Kenny in between seasons, or the big 16 month gap after Omid's death.

I know XD you should see my grammar when I write sometimes; I could sink the Titanic with the mistakes I've made!

I'll never forget that line I wrote when I was 15:

"A trial of sweet rolled down his face."

  • yeah and some of the popular stories on forums have alot of grammar errors but personally the stories are still greatly enjoyable

  • Maybe a DLC that explains what happened to the 400 Days survivors and the people in Howe's after what happened in In Harm's Way.

"It's not necessarily something you can expect to see super, super soon. But I think you can perhaps, maybe, expect to see Walking Dead again sooner..."

Not sure if this a good thing. If they mean sooner than previous release times then maybe the quality of the game will feel more rushed.

  • Dlc to introduce new protagonist of season 3? Yes please.

  • DLC that tied the endings together would be what I would like but I expect something like 400 days.

  • 400 Days sequel please. I need to see more of Shel and Becca.

Sorry but season 2 Clementine was awful in my opinion.

  • Let's all hope and pray that it's a DLC that matters.

  • I hope it's a DLC about how Kenny escaped. I need to know. I don't care about Christa and Omid, but a DLC about Clem and them first meeting up again after season 1 would be okay, I guess....

  • Might be wrong but I'm pretty sure it will just be a short story that takes the ending you had in season 2, and funnels you to the same ending that will be the starting point for season 3.

In other words take your "decision", and make it a non decision.

  • High five

  • Maybe it'll be a DLC? If yes then I think it'll serve as some kind of bridge between season 2 and 3. In other words, I think that possible DLC would somehow tied all endings together. Not in a way that they'll all end up in the exactly same situation, scene or place. What i meant is that they'll put them together in a way that season 3 will still start differently but later story will slowly keep getting closer to the point where the story will go almost the same for all players but it'll be still a different experience based on their choices.

P.S. Sorry if my english is bad. It's only morning in here where I live.

  • A dlc about 3 storyes,i know it will be a dlc because it was founded in file 206 207 208 menu files in data menu. The modders see a lotta stuff

  • How about this, we are playing not as Clementine, but as someone who Clementine will meet in the 3rd season. And Based on all of your decisions in the DLC, will be different dialogue options, which are further changed by how you played Clementine during season 2.

We follow this persons story right up to a point where Clementine will pass through in season 3, so when we get to that point, probably in episode 1 of season 3, we know the person we are meeting as we have already played as them. This can serve two purposes, this could give the fresh angle TTG are looking for, and allow Clementine to take the back seat as deuteragonist again. This is only a guess mind you, but it really wouldn't surprise me what they do right now as there are soooo many things they could do as a DLC.

  • Yeah but you know - a lot of people feel like it would be really stupid if Telltale were about to change protagonist every season because from what you wrote I understand that you're talking about a DLC which will introduce us to a new character who will be a protagonist in the next season.
