The walking dead season 3 episodes

Wont you guys want telltale to make TWD just like GOT, by that i mean making it 6 episodes. because its all about character development and we all know season 2 was lacking alot... maybe adding a bonus episode to ADD more to the characters? and maybe if they want to kill all the cast just like in season 2 (sarcastic) they have more episodes to make it more realistic and not just a checklist of what to kill next. i mean it will be more realistic because there will be more time (episodes) to make the characters have some sort of impact etc... i can go on and on, but you get the idea :)

POLL, maybe telltale staff can see this :D

Did you turn on the setting on ur strawpoll so only 1 vote for person so they cant vote infinite times?

  • You forgot an option: Yes if it helps serve the plot.

The reason GOT has 6 episodes is because they have enough of a story for 6 episodes. It should be as many episodes as they need to get the job done. If they were to have a six episode season, the first should be dedicated to our ending while the other five play out like a normal season.

The issue that some people have with Season 2 is the under developed characters, I get that, but that doesn't have anything to do with the amount of episodes a season has, Season 1 did fine and it had the same amount. The issue was the length of the episodes, writers forcing to have everything crammed into an hour and a half long span simply does not work, especially with the story they had for S2. Imagine the writer of Starved for Help, which is about two and a half hours long, forcing to cram everything in so that it comes to an hour and a half, the segments that would have to be cut, less chances to talk to people, it simply wouldn't be the same experience. Now an episode like In Harms Way should be more than an hour and a half, it would have helped utilize Carver's camp more and give us more insight to what his camp was like, but since the writer had to focus on the main story, he couldn't do that. Hell, they had to drop the whole, "Mike is Ralph from the woods," story because the length of episodes was too short to fit it in. Episodes need to be as long as the writers need them to be. If a writer needs an hour and a half, then fine, if a writer needs two hours, fine, but don't force the writer to restrict himself to a certain time frame like they did with Season 2. If they do that, they won't have that problem anymore.

i like the idea of more episodes metallica but longer episodes would be good too but like someone said episodes dont have to be long to be awesome and to be honest i would be fine with them delaying episodes since if telltale has to delay a game to make it perfect fine by me i would rather season 3 take longer and be as good as it can then it be made in a few months at a time and not be as good in my opinion

  • I don't agree with S2 lacking, BUT maybe instead of more episodes, Telltale should have more time to develop the episodes. I know people hated the wait for TFTB ep.2, but the episode that came out was fantastic. They even announced that one of the reasons why the wait time was so long was due to them adding more stuff into the episode. So maybe something like that could be good for S3. No....you don't like waiting? Well neither do I.

  • Personally I think they need a sixth episode because once again they will have to introduce an entire new cast of characters since they killed them all again, and trying to start the plot and add characters is too much for five episodes the story only ends up getting any speed with rich characters by episode 3

But personally i think instead of putting episodes out every 2-3 months they should make a game where they invest a longtime on each episode and maybe spend extra long on season 3 like you said maybe adding a extra month or 2 working on each episode to make season 3 the best they can possible so i would perfer if they spent 4-5 months on 1 episode and its a masterpiece rather then they get it out as fast as they can

Longer episodes might be a possiblity too since you know metallica explained something above about the cut down episode time on season 2 but like someone on the forum said before shorter episodes can be good too but its just a suggestion

  • Totally agree. something went wrong in season 2. and adding an extra episode will sure help telltale develop a healthy storyline and not rushed or extravanga-size by killing all the people that you might think you care about but also forget about them quickly... i hope they do :)

  • thats the point, since when walking dead has any sort of a story? i mean its the same ol' zombies that we see all the time. but what makes the walking dead different from any zombie world is the characters and the scary thought of such thing effect on humanity and what is considered a moral thing in a world that tries really hard to kill you? the walking dead is all about characters and adding an extra episode will give each character the proper development, and maybe give them space while they kill other character and we wont be mad about it. hint (sarah).. it just will give them the tool to express those characters well... my point would be (carver) he was so underwhelming as a villian and so typical, in my opinion if they had more time he would've been my favorite villian, and those trailers hyped me so much! by the time i finished starved for help i was so disappointed, he had potential but they maybe didnt give him a chance or maybe lazy? idk... an extra episode would explain alot, etc... :)

i dont know what season 3 might be like.. based on season 2, adding an extra episode would've solved all my problems and why i thought season 2 was lacking and for the most part i loathed it ... idk, characters need time and we need time to develop somesort of actual caring about them! if season 3 was more like TFTBL in terms of delivery then HELL NO! but if it was like his past 2nd season then YES. they need to add an extra episode. :)
