Tales From The Borderlands Season Pass Unlocks
I purchased the Telltale bundle on Xbox One, and while I received Episode 2 of Tales From The Borderlands, it does not recognize my account as having the Season Pass for the Unlocks for the Handsome Collection. What do I need to do to get credit for the pass?

The unlocks that became available as part of your purchase of the Season Pass of Tales from the Borderlands include some skins, weapons and heads. It is not the whole Handsome Collection.
If you launch Borderlands: the Pre-Sequel, your unlocks should be available after you've downloaded the latest update from Gearbox. Let us know if you have any problems.
That's what I mean. The heads and skins do not unlock (I purchased the Handsome Collection today). In Tales From the Borderlands, it doesn't even show that I own the season pass. It still tells me to buy it when I go to the Unlocks screen.
My apologies, please note that if you have purchased the Telltale Collection Bundle, your Xbox Live account owns the Season Pass of Tales From The Borderlands regardless of the in-game messaging. Can you please clarify if you have created a Shift account needed to unlock the items? Also, have you started both games (Tales From The Borderlands and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel), and made sure that both of them are updated to the latest version?
Yes to all of your questions. All games are updated, and I have started both. I do have a Shift account, and have tested it by redeeming Gold Key codes in both Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel.
Are you able to see the items inside your Shift account as 'Tales From The Borderlands Rewards!'?
Just tested The Pre-Sequel again, and I now have the unlocks in game. I'm not sure if it was related to the other loyalty reward issues they've been having, but all seems good now. Thank you for your help!
And yes, they are now showing up on my Shift account page. Not sure if they were before when they weren't showing in-game.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify what platform you are playing the game on?(PC/Mac/PS3/Xbox/iOS/Android?) Also, do you own both of the games for the same platform?
I am using iOS. I linked my TTG account with my steam account.
I'm having the exact same problem, I've got a valid PSN ID and Shift account and I've linked my TTG Account to PSN yet Tales From the Borderlands keeps asking me to buy the Season Pass when I've already got it. I've rebooted my PS3 (I don't have a PS4) and both The Pre-Sequel and Tales several times and the unlocks are still not showing themselves

EDIT: The unlocks finally showed up in the Pre-Sequel but not until 2 days later. The Season Pass is still not showing up as bought though in Tales from the Borderlands and only presents an error message when you try to buy it. This needs fixing and soon but considering how the Poker Night 2 unlock problem was never fixed, I doubt this one will be either

I've heard that it will have a notification when you have unlocked the items. I have linkeded all accounts and signed in on my iOS device but I have had no recogniton anywhere. Is there some sort of bug with the iOS version.
I am having this same problem. I bought the season pass at gamestop for PS4, used the code and while it gave me the game and episode 1, episode 2 and the whole season pass is showing up saying I need to purchase it even though I've already paid for it. My skins are also not showing up in The Handsome Collection. I have a valid PSN, Shift, and TTG account. I would really love a solution to this problem since I'm chomping at the bit to play episode 2!
Now I'm having a similar problem. Yesterday after unlocking the items in game with my Athena I had a crash. Now I can't seem to find any of the items that I unlocked from owning the Tales season pass. Doesn't it save after SHIFT unlocks an item on a particular character profile?
Seriously guys it kinda sucks that I'm completely missing my unlocks because of a stupid crash
Edit: I forgot to mention I followed the instructions to the letter T. I linked my tell tale account to my steam one and then I unlocked everything via my steam copy of The Pre-Sequel. After the crash however my inventory does not contain ANY of the items AND I can't find ANY of the unlocks from the SHIFT station.
Did anyone find a solution to this problem yet? I am also having trouble redeeming my loot...

I live in the UK, purchased Tales from the Borderlands season pass for PS4 via the PSN store. Registered for a TT account and linked my PSN profile with the TT account.
I have also purchased Borderlands, The Handsome Collection for PS4 and have a valid shift account which I have linked to the game. I have redeemed golden key codes etc. ok and they appear in game.
Both games are up-to-date with the latest patches but when going into Tales from the Borderlands, extras, unlocks it states that I do not own the season pass and prompts me to purchase it taking me to the PS store to purchase which I can't as I already own it! When going back it states 'updating' but then goes back to the main menu.
As I can not get the season pass to be recognised, no skins/heads etc from Tales from the Borderlands are appearing in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel within the Handsome Collection.
Please someone advise on what - if anything - i have done wrong or if there is a known bug.

If you are experiencing issues accessing your unlocks in your inventory after you have redeemed them in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, please contact/email Gearbox Support directly for any assistance regarding the unlocks missing in-game after a crash.
My apologies, please make sure that you have read over This Sticky Thread that explains the requirements to unlock your in-game loot. Please also make sure that you have started both Tales From The Borderlands and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel so that both games become associated with that particular Playstation Account. Also make sure that both games are updated to the latest version, that your Telltale account is linked in your copy of Tales From The Borderlands, and that you have a valid SHiFT account. If you still are unable to see your unlocks under your My Offers page when logging into your SHiFT account, can you please clarify if your Playstation account, Telltale account, and SHiFT account all use the same email address, or are there different addresses for different accounts?
I have checked that I meet the requirements and I have done all those subsequent things. My TTG account, PSN account, and SHIFT account all use the same email address. The rewards are not appearing when I log into my SHiFT account. I don't think my Season Pass purchase is registering as even my copy of Tales from the Borderlands can't seem to detect it.
EDIT: I don't know if this makes a difference but I am also in the EU region, and I purchased my copt of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel from the PSN Store.
Have same issue. Have purchased TftB season pass from EU PSN store (states there as purchased). Still game encourages to purchase season pass and subsequently doesn't unlock season pass rewards. Platform is PS4, so obviously my B:TPS copy is part of Handsome Collection.
As to requirements, all seems to be OK. Accounts OK with same e-mail. Seems like culprit is that game itself doesn't recognize my season pass.
EDIT: To clarify my situation. 1) Season pass for TftB purchased from EU PSN Store, 2) Played PS4 TftB episodes 1-2, 3) Played PS4 B:TPS about halfway, 4) All three accounts OK, 5) When I go to TftB's "Unlocks" game wants that I should upgrade to season pass and gives two options "Buy Season Pass" and "No Thank You". Selecting "Buy" leads to PSN Store where states obviously that Season Pass is purchased. :-S
Same here, I triple checked everything and it still didn't work. In the end the unlocks randomly appeared 2 days after they were made available but in-game, the Tales from the Borderlands still says I don't have the Season Pass and just errors when I try to use the "Buy" options in the various menus. I don't know what the problem is but this is a serious, gamebreaking bug that needs fixing ASAP along with the many other technical problems this game has.
Well, I'm glad they unlocked for you, but I have had no such luck. It's not the end of the world anyways, as I can still enjoy both games, but damn it's frustrating to be locked out through no fault of my own.
I don't even get to the PSN store when I select "Buy Season Pass"; a box just pops up saying "Updating content" wih a vault symbol spinning, then end with "Failed. Failed to update content".
OK. Booted Borderlands: TPS today, and stike me down, season pass rewards were at Shift menu. Maybe this has something to do (on PS4 side) with those other Borderlands (loyalty) rewards claiming issues which Gearbox/2K AUS are currently furiously working on?
As confirmation about these skins. After redeemed them they appeared Borderlads's in-game Shift machine again. Weapons codes are one shot but these heads & skins...?
It's really weird as this problem seems inconsistent. Some people said they didn't have this issue at all. Some people said that they were able to fix it by redownloading and installing the unlock file for Tales from the Borderlands. Some people, like yourself, simply started the game up one day, and the reward popped up (someone else reported this earlier in this very thread). Some people, like myself, cannot seem to get anywhere.
It's such an odd, and comically absurd problem.
Actually I did my share of furious deleting and re-downloading/installing content as someone suggested that it worked for them. Don't think that this helped at all. Comically at the same time my ISP had some issues and downloaded Tales ep 1-2 with speed around 100 kbps (my connection is 50 Mbps). That was spiritually uplifting!
I meant that if it's something that either side (Telltale or Gearbox/2K AUS) are working on, it should eventually be fixed for all. On Gearbox forums users having any Borderlands rewards/Shift issues are encouraged to leave support request ticket here

So I turned on my Playstation and started up TPS. The rewards just appeared in the SHiFT menu. Literally didn't do anything. They just seemed to be delayed. Just like it happened with you...

I didn't first believe my eyes, thought that this is just some mirage stemmed from my soon-to-be-crushed hope :-D. Maybe they have huge queue of different rewards/Shifts that they beginning to solve. At least on PS4-side there's some bigger redeeming issues on B:TPS.
I'm having the same problem. Have purchased both TPS and Tales Season Pass through Steam for Mac, have linked my Steam account to my Telltale account, and have refreshed my games in Steam. Still nothing has appeared in my Presequel SHiFT rewards. Should I wait on them to appear (like they have for others here)?

I just bought the Tales of Borderlands Season Pass. When I log into Borderlands Pre Sequel on PS4 (Handsome Edition) The skins and gun are not showing up. I have a Shift account and a Tale Tells account. The Tale Tells account is saying it is linked to my PS4.
Could I please get some help on this matter.
I purchased The Season Pass, and i have Borderlands TPS on my mac. My Shift account is linked to my steam account and my Telltale account is also linked to my steam account. Yet when i go in the shift menu in TPS, no rewards are shown. May i please receive help on this matter?
Can you please clarify if you have started both games, and have updated both games to the latest version? After doing so, please try logging into your SHiFT account again, and you should see your unlocks present.

Yes I have started both games. Both games are updated to the latest versions. I have also logged in SHiFT. Nothing is coming up.
Are there plans to allow them to be unlocked on the Mac version in the future?
