I think this is season 3 writing. Any DLC should already be written, based on what they have hinted. Although, I'd be interested to know when they started. To be writing it still, going into April... They're spending quite a bit of time on it.
There will be more references to Lee and Duck and than there are about her actual parents.
We will meet a young, skinny, white "badass" woman with short, light colored hair who is a loner, has a dead sister, will leave in ep. 4, has a signature weapon, has been a part of a really shitty community, and will take a liking to Clem. She also may not like Kenny that much if he's still alive.

It's good news that there is some progress. Unfortunately, we all know that Season 3 isn't something that will be released soon. Maybe later?
I hope season 3 will be released this fall, seeing how they seem to be working hard on it, I don't think it's impossible.
