Would this be cool or no?

I was thinking while playing TWD, what if,in season 3 ,at the end,
this all turned out to be Lee or Clementine's dream?
In my opinion that sounds pretty cool but idk... what do u think?

  • It would be cool if it was Carley's dream.

She wakes up in the drugstore.
First line out of her mouth: "You know what? I'm with Lilly. Lets not help these people."

  • It would ruin the whole game to me, I would hate it, then try to forget this ending forever.

  • Yea that would be awesome!

  • Well....any explanation on why?

    no

  • Well we all have our opinions...

  • If that was all dream sequence, wouldn't it make both Seasons pointless?

I never liked the "it was all a dream" trope.... but if it meant Lee coming back and becoming the protagonist again, well......

  • Not necessarily, the plague could still happen but like
if it was someone from the series ' dream then it would
encourage them to make better decisions like for example,
Lilly might change her mind about shooting Carley or
Kenny would think twice about "risking" his family's lives...

  • Well, I would Hope if they do make that happen, it would Happen in Episode 4, so We wake up in Savanha after the trip to crawford, and Get a choice to change fate, Like, [Stay inside] or [Kill Stranger] That'd be a cool concept, and Then we could play as clem, Make it out of Savanah, It'd be great spending the 5th episode as 11 year old clem, Taking place 2 years after they got on the water. and If Choosing to stay inside, Clem could assist with a big battle between them all, It would be cool, But telltale won't use the same trope Twice, and if they do, it will still not be good, But the idea is great!

  • no that would be a terrible idea just like the idea of the whole thing is rick dreaming in his coma

  • I never really liked this idea and it would make me feel a bit empty and pissed if they did that, but it would certainly make this game even more controversial than it already is that's for sure.

  • It would be cheap.

  • I think the end of the game would be nice if it was like Dorothy waking up in the Wizard of Oz. It's Clementine coming out of a coma, and everyone from the game was a person she knew in life.

  • It would be worse than the ending to mass effect 3

  • No, no. It would be like this whole thing was a waste of time. Those endings are always like a middle finger to the face. :/

  • Now that sounds better.

  • Or they could go Donnie Darko, and everyone feels the change as they wake up in the past. Or they could go 'LOST' and it's an alternate reality, which is REALLY some kind if heaven and everybodys actually dead. but that defeats the hopelessness purpose of the apocalypse in the TWD universe. In my opinion, it's a bad idea, but TT is already not doing so great. :p

  • I'd be so pissed. I'd probably break my computer.

  • It would be a cheap and uncreative ending imo.

  • As someone else rightly stated, it would be a tired old cliché. One that's been repeated too many times.
I am well aware that telltale have made mistakes in the past, but I don't believe even they would go down that road.
No, in real life you can't go back on decisions made in the past. The same applies to this game, or it should do.

In my opinion I wouldn't like this ending. It would mean all the sacrifices and all the decisions we made were absolutely pointless. Basically the unbreakable bond that was made would've never existed. Clementine and Lee wouldn't be as close and they wouldn't be able to identify all the turmoil Lee would've gone through just to protect her and all of the that would've just been imaginary. But that's just my opinion.
