    Robert kirkman confirmed some months ago that rick isnt in a coma and that the events of TWD are happening ;)

    I guess that's a reasonable theory, but honestly if it actually happened, I'd be SO pissed. All of that character development for nothing?! That would mean Rick might've never met Daryl. :(.

    Nah Rick knows Daryl outside of the coma. But inside the coma Rick doesn't know Daryl. Just like in the wizard of oz.
