Imagine the debate between Walter and Carver

That makes me sad that scene didn't happen. To me imo, i guess the debate between philosophies would of been a much more interesting storyline, than watching some random guy get killed, but that just me. Some people are interested in different things, but i wonder how the game would of played out if Walter and his Good Nature came to Carver's camp. Carver didn't seem like he wasn't able to be reasoned with, maybe Walt could of changed his way of thinking.
The dynamics could've been huge. It was sad imo that he died so quickly, but that is the game i guess.

I doubt Walter would of managed to change Carver's ways, the dude's thinking that only the toughest survive was set in stone for him and nothing could change that. And I think Carver would of did to Walter what he did to Reggie or give him the Kenny treatment for telling Carver that his way of doing things is wrong.
We don't know how Walter surviving would of affected Kenny, would he of been able to control him more, would they tried this escape plan. Lets be honest, i am surprised Luke was ok with that plan, from his fear of being bitten. I doubt Walter would be ok with letting Clementine put herself as risk, he seems like a very responsible/nice person.
Walter: I'm telling you the honest truth my man, My Little Pony is an excellent show! Even a Breaking Bad lover such as yourself could learn a lesson or two on the power of friendship. Why don't you come join me to watch a few episodes this evening and we can be bronies together?
Carver: ಠ_ಠ...
I agree. When Reggie died, I didn't really care, tbh. It only confirmed that Carver was a bad guy. (Something we already knew).
Interesting. Especially with Matthew's recent death, how does it all affect Walter? Does he begin to agree with Carver's POV? Is he an active supporter of the escape plan? Or does he even introduce the idea that they can take over Carver's camp? So much could have been done with Walter. Too bad he got killed off for the heck of it.
On another note, Teltale should plan out the whole season before writing it rather than going episode by episode. I think it would make for better ideas and a solid story overall. Season 2 lacked this.
I'd be happy Walter dying the nice man he was instead of becoming what you said he could possibly become. Walter and Sarah were some of my favorite character because of how nice they were.
I don't think there would've been much of a debate. I think Carver would've seen Walter's kindness as weakness
Exactly if it was Walter, it would of said a statement, that Carver doesn't think like Walt, and to kill him like that, knowing what a good guy he is, really sets his tone, but instead we got some random indian guy. OK, it is what it is, i can't express my opinion anymore because if i do, certain people follow me around and quote me, then will argue with my opinion, time and time again. At this point in my life, i just don't give a shit. That is all i am going to say about that.
I was hoping they could of put a angle of forgiveness with Walter, that is what i would have done, he forgives nicks for his trespass. He was a school teacher, not a killer.
I honestly think they had the original base story written , but decided to change it at episode two, by creating the Kenny Chronicles, i don't believe that was the original story.
I like that idea of switching Reggie with Walter. While Walter's original death is tragic, Walter being killed by Carver at Howes could've had a bigger emotional impact on the player. Maybe if Clementine chose not to help Sarah, Walter attempts to console Sarah. The rest would turn out the same.
I really like this idea. I would have loved to see them interact with one another but I somehow doubt that Walter would be capable of changing Carver's mind.
maybe not, but it would of been interesting to see him try, and to set the tone for the upcoming drama.
