What was your least favourite episode in Season 1?

Since we mainly focus on the negatives in the second season, perhaps we should delve into the bad things in Season 1. So, what was your least favourite episode? Honestly it is too hard for me to say, since I cannot think of a massive mistake or problem, aside from the bugs littered in the PC version.

    A knockup between

Episode 5 = Very short, linear and had little to no choice. I felt nothing I did was all that important anyway as Lee was already dying and on replays I try to get through it as quickly as possible

Episode 1 = Like anything the first part if always the intro and its just introducing characters. On replays the drugstore and everything about it takes ages to do. I also feel like the characters all have different personalities in the episode along with the rest of the series. The walker's behaviour even differs to most other episode. Also dont really like puzzles especially on replays

  • Episode 3 just because it felt so short. The story through out each episode was amazing though, it was only the length of the episode that bothered me.

  • episode 1 for me

Either Long Road Ahead or Around Every Corner. Long Road Ahead felt overly long and felt like it dragged on, and that train puzzle halts all the momentum the episode had up to that point. Around Every Corner is complete filler, from the moment they arrive in Savannah to when Lee gets bit, none of it is important to the overall main story, and Crawford turned out to be a huge disappointment.

Also, surprised to see almost no love for A New Day, I thought it was the second best episode of the season. It had problems, but I thought it served as a great introduction to this series.

  • No Time Left undoubtedly has the weakest writing of the whole first season, so while I probably have more investment in it than say, A New Day, I can't in good conscience give it a pass when it's the weakest episode. It's almost saved by the ingeniously written and directed final scene between Clem and Lee, but that doesn't make up for a lot of the problems.

  • Hmm, I'd say either A New day or Around Every Corner.

EP1 because it's the beginning and none of the good parts don't come until later.

EP4 because it feels overly long with Crawford section.

  • A New Day. The Drugstore scenes made up a huge part of the Episode and I just felt like they dragged on for WAY too long.

  • Loved em all, but if I had to pick one it would be episode 4 - Around Every Corner. Freakin mandatory sewer levels, everyone forgot Chuck, Hello Molly Bye Molly, and from time to time boring walking around areas with very little to interact with.

  • All were great but episode 5 was the worst. Too short, seemed rushed, they made It seem like Clementine was in no mans land, yet she was only a few minutes away from the mansion.
They worked the whole season perfectly but episode 5 was just a let down to me.

  • episode 2 Who the hell is mark and where did he come from?

  • Episode 3 pacing wise, episode 4 plotwise

  • Episode 1 Lee meeting Clem :)

  • Completely agree

    A New Day

It's still a great episode, but out of all five, it's definitely my least favorite

  • Episode 5. I thought it was a meh finale for a great game, the only thing really standing out is Lee's death scene.

  • Episode 1 and 3. Love both, but 103 has bugs that i encounter whenever i'm on the train, also so much happens in so little time i just wanted a break lol. And 101 i've just seen it too many times.

  • I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thinks No Time Left is overappreciated.

  • It's explained...and that can't be your reason for you thinking it's the worst episode of the season. It's considered one of the best.

  • Long Road Ahead. The train scene was an annoyance.

  • Episode 5

Lee was bit, i already knew how this was going to turn out.

  • Definitely Around Every Corner. The Crawford part is very boring and overly long. It also introduced Molly, who I personally can't stand. Luckily, it got better after that and it has a great cliff hanger.

Second least favorite episode would be A New Day. It's pretty good until the pharmacy puzzle. I first watched a Let's Play of TWDG and so surely I would've remembered or gotten that puzzle figured out quicker than if it was my first ever experience with the game? Noooope. I had the hardest time with that puzzle... all of it. The motel puzzle/saving Glenn and trying to get the keys. Call me simple-minded or whatever, but I can't stand those puzzles. It's gotten better now that I've played it a few times. I also can't stand the annoying music when talking to Doug outside the pharmacy. The soundtrack is amazing... except for that one song. Maybe I've just associated it with bad memories. Also, Doug randomly yelled "Holy crap! Run!" once Lee gets the keys.... The zombies were still distracted by the TVs until Doug yelled... seriously, go watch the scene. They only turn around after he yells. Skip to 7:55. Skip to 7:55

    Talk about forced zombie drama.

I think I actually may hate ep. 1 more now... lol. I stand by what I said about ep. 4, though.

  • A Long Road Ahead - a lot of things bothered me about the episode. A choice which kind of mattered but was no consequence to the victim (when she did have a lane to escape), having to deal with Duck, bandits almost immediately attacking the motel after finding the stash, & the time around the train. the train puzzle was not really too bad (some of the Sam & Max puzzles were nerve-racking). A lot of it was drawn out to me.

400 Days. If we're talking about the main story then A New Day.

  • Episode 4, the most borring episode ever. Even episode 4 for S2 is the worst.

  • Long Road Ahead. It was too slow, although it did pick up a bit when we met Omid and Christa.
