Did Clementine work for you as a protagonist?

  • Not stop, no. Maybe not but low temperatures slow down bleeding because if it's cold enough then blood is freezing. Also we don't know how much blood she lost, though we know from Jane and Kenny that after Clementine was shot they put her in a car quickly, probably treat her injuries or at least Jane did because Kenny was a driver.

All I'm saying that she was shot in the shoulder, she was unconscious for quite some time and we don't know what exactly happened between that. Nothing, only that they took her to a car where it was warmer. We also know that Jane checked her wound because she said that there in an exit wound so it's possible that she also treat that wound.

She was shot in the shoulder, and she lost quite a bit of blood. At the very least, her arm shouldn't even work properly anymore. She was

  • I'd believe the idea that Kenny and Jane treated Clementine's wound if there were any physical evidence that they had surgical supplies. Leave used bandages on the car seat, have blood around her seat, not have her shrug off the wound and make little impact on her health, and so on.

This is where "Show, don't tell" would work more than just assume that Kenny and Jane had the supplies to fix her up, especially since all we see are two bags of supplies being stolen by Mike, Bonnie, and Arvo, which are both never opened.

  • NOPE,

    1. The plot made no sense, why would the survivors treat her as a "survivor", only kenny was possibly privy to the chuck speech. They should have initially treated her like a child IMO, but that didn't happen.
    2. The way they talk to CLementine wasn't realistic.
    3. The way they ask her ,what they should do wasn't realistic, breaks the mood.
    4. As others said she felt emotionless.to me.
    5. Her Kicking down a door.
    6. Getting shot and being "fine."
    7. Not Giving two cents about Sarah, dying in the most horrible way imaginable, but being more concerned that Jane is Leaving.
  • But she wasn't shot at point blank range. Go back and look at the scene again if you have to. Since it's a rifle and that's a more precise weapon it wouldn't tear through her body. The bullet went through her shoulder and she was able to recover thanks to Jane/Kenny helping her.

  • You're right, we don't have evidence. We can only assume what was in this two bags of supplies. Maybe only food but maybe something more? We can only speculate. Yes, maybe showing those supplies would work but they don't have to do such things. They can, of course, but they don't have to.

  • No, she didn’t. But she could have.

I thought, since it's been quite a while after the outbreak, priorities should have shifted by now. It's not about the struggle for sheer survival anymore, but about building a new life, integrating yourself in a kind of society, maybe having something like school (this dialogue in the abandoned classroom in Crawford got stuck in my mind) or political choices (like Walter said: “people are more political now, than ever before”) etc. A relatively weak protagonist, who's depending on others and has yet to find his place and personality could have worked out in a scenario like this.

Well, instead we got caught up in this pointless cat-and-mouse-game between Carver and the cabin group. Then some random things happened, Clem had to play kindergartner, kick in doors and shoot crazy dictators while clinging on the wall like Spiderman.

Long complaining short: I don't really understand why Telltale chose Clementine as the protagonist when all they did was pushing her into being a Lee 2.0.

  • Clementine as the protagonist when all they did was pushing her into being a Lee 2.

I disagree. Comparing Clementine to Lee is like comparing Solid Snake to Raiden.

No i am saying they are not comparable,

One was the hero of metal gear solid
the other was the worst video game disappointment in history. No one wanted to play as Raiden, everyone i was friends with was so mad.

  • Well, I didn't say they succeeded. But Cleminator was an upgrade too Lee in one way: she smashed more walkers, at least it felt like it.

  • She could of easily had a Lee Role with Sarah. Season two is what it is.

  • Yep. It's still good that people point out what they didn't like about Season 2 and keep talking about it, better than bottling up your anger and silently abandoning Telltale because of your disappointment.

  • Hunting rifle bullets most of the time will be of the fragmenting kind, in order to kill the animal that is being hunted quicker. It is really unclear the space from which Clementine and Arvo are standing from. And seriously, getting shot by any kind of bullet isn't something you just shrug off. She should be in extreme pain, and her arm would still no longer work properly.

lol i don't blame him honestly, I just don't know why he quit Konami, personally i think he is having a mid life crisis, wants to go smoke with Troy Baker. Bad News for Konami/Silent Hill fans. That means all the work they did on "silent hills" is done with. They have to start over.

Konami and TTG should partner out, and start pumping out games.
