What kind of person would you be in the ZA?

Imo no laws, rules or acting society= no moral standards I need to live up to. I'd do anything to survive like The Lone Wanderer in Fallout 3. I think I would try to take over the world and kill people for their supplies. As a side objective I'd gather kids or younger people, raise them, teach them how to survive and to bow and worship me as the leader of the new civilization we build

  • Me: I wonder if it's died down out there now...[peers out window]

    Zombies: Braaaaaaains

Me: o_o...nope [goes back to playing Resident Evil]

  • Like Luke. Kind-hearted and trying my best to lead for whomever will follow. Yeah yeah no one like that can live through the ZA cry me river, I'll go sink in a lake.

Pretty much a combination of Dale (comic) and Omid

The jokester attitude of Omid, and the humanity of Dale

I'm just too much a nice guy in real life. I mean, I'm the kind of guy that apologizes profusely when I raise my voice at someone. Factor in firearms, and it'd be even more of a disaster.

  • A more competent version of Luke...I hope, minus the good looks.

...Pshaw, 99% of us will be Ben, no doubt about it.

  • I would probably try to be on my own because I wouldnt really trust anyone

  • Glenn. I'm totally Glenn. Maybe with a bit of Lee added in. I'm one of those problem solving, "keep my humanity" type of guys, but I'm willing to throw down if necessary.

  • Like Lee...

  • I'd be the magical, majestic leader everyone looks up to. I'd grab a shotgun, tweak my cowboy hat and get ready to bust out some lead-pumping action as other survivors look and gawk at me from afar in awe.

Then I'd remember I've no idea how to properly handle a shotgun and the kickback would knock me flat on my ass before I either run like hell or get devoured. It's a real tragedy.

  • prolly like Nick

  • How I imagine myself: badass like Lee

What I most likely will be: scared shitless like Sarah

  • Clem or Lilly.
I would probably be the asshole of the group xD

  • A dead person probably

I probably would be dead. I blame myself for stupid stuff. So I'd probably go crazy after the first person I cared about died. So, I hope this never actually happens.

  • I'd be a loner.

  • I think I would be like Lee, I am very similar to him in many different ways

I am very soft inside but when needed I can be very intimidating and will smack a few heads together.

I can make quick on the spot decisions and usually they are the right choice.

I could name a lot more but I need to sleep, so am going to stop there. Have a nice day :)

and to bow and worship me as the leader

this made me laugh, so I had to give ya a 'like' for that

I'm not sure what type of survivalist I would be in a ZA, but the way I see it,if you still have a pulse, we're technically on the same team---being able to cooperate with others is going to be essential to humanity's collective survival.

I think I'd be a mixture of Carley, Deanna, Dale/Morgan and Omid.

I'd want to save as many people as my group and I could like Carley, but like Deanna, I would want to be diplomatic about things, but I wouldn't be as pacifistic as she. Like Dale/Morgan, I feel that just because civil-society as was known has broken down, does not mean that humanity has to or should abandon basic respect for human life...but again, don't know if I would be as pacifistic as Morgan. Like Omid, I think I'd keep my sense of humor in ZA.

  • The hero everyone is hoping to run into to save them from this nightmare.

    depressed asf, dies in fence.

  • I thought I'd be a meek guy who would die early on, but lately several of my friends have begun to think I'm a psychopath for various reasons, so if they're right I might just survive after all.

  • Like 90% of the people on this forum, I would burst into tears, and then die moments later.

  • I'd be screwed lol. My habit of helping people and mostly failing at that too would end up getting me and my family killed as sooner or later, the guy who wants to take all our stuff will show up. I'd be killed on site as I try to help them, so yeah, I really do hope a ZA doesn't occur as I really will end up dead.

  • Dead most likely, once when I was 14 I got lost in a forrest for 5 days, I didn't even try to find food or anything I just walked, collapsed then walked again until I found the camp I was supposed to be in, I vomited the little food I had eaten (Oranges that I had in my backpack) and after showering (Because I totally have my priorities straight) I hopped on the bus and left, I didn't eat anything until I got home and after I ate I fainted and woke up 3 days later, basically this says 2 things about me, 1 I'm tough as hell which would be good if 2 I had a survival instinct, which is clear that I don't, even after reaching civilization I didn't eat anything until I got home that's around 6 hours after I found civilization, basically I'd be super dead, probably wouldn't even try.

  • I dont think anybody can really know, at first sure but the stress over time...

  • I would like to be Rick, since he has a canon shield and can't die.

  • I'd probably do whatever it takes to survive. No room for the weak in worlds like this, you gotta do what you gotta do.

  • With my luck, I'd be the one to start the whole thing or I'd be the person that leads to the infection of a stable community. I'd like to think I'd survive and have horrific adventures, but it all depends on how bad the ZA is and where I am when it starts.

  • FINALLY!

I would like to be Rick, since he has a canon shield and can't die.

  • I would be an innocent 12 year old evolving to a hardened survivor.

  • What? haha

Well that's a though one because even when you're mentally and physically ready for such an event then you would still have to deal with new experiences.

If you're aiming to be someone different then you're now, then you need to train yourself in order to become that person.

And if you don't then chances are that in such an event illustrated in The Walking Dead will change your morality and lifestyle.

I would definitely aim for the "I need to survive to ensure the survival of others" kind of person. oh and just to make my statement clear; I wouldn't force to harm a person for my survival, but if that person would do that to me then I would reconsider my intentions.

I'm not going to describe my actions detailed for encounters with social educated beings nor with those that aren't (in general) educated or mentally stable. But I like to be as cautious as possible even if it takes more time to accomplish. and I know how some of you think: "Fuck that, life is short and I would just kill anything that's a threat in some way to save time." just keep in mind that you're taking all their time.

    But as a conclusion:

    • Humans aren't that smart
    • Humans are destructive
    • Humans live like sheeps

There are only a few that are capable to bypass these attributes and those often have one or more of the following attributes:

    • Avoidance: Alone
    • Improvement: Spend their time in others to let them see the way they do (educate them)
    • Riddance: Dedication to the creation of the greater good - better than others

I went so deep into this.

  • And then all those kids turn on you.

Nah, but I'm definitely like Glenn. I'll strive to keep morality while punching dudes in the process.

...I'll be prepared for any Negan like shitheads, though.
