Justin or Danny (400 Days)
So many threads I go to where people even mention Vince or 400 days for that matter ends in a LONG ass debate between users yelling at each other about why Justin or Danny was morally a 'better choice'. So this is a thread to share who you chose, like better as a character and person and why. Personally I chose Justin but that was mainly because of the tense moment and situation, but after reading so many arguments it's hard to say whats wrong and right here. What do you guys think?

Well there's no wrong decision you have to leave someone behind and that sucks. I shot Danny because I liked Justin more he was just a more interesting character in my opinion.
I went with Danny, because I ultimately felt that he was the more trustworthy and loyal of the two, and overall a more stand-up guy than Justin was, even in spite of his supposed crime
Not to mention that we don't even know the specifics of what he did. Sure, it's hinted at, but the person that we learn about Danny's crime from is Justin, the self-proclaimed 'good liar' that seems more than willing to throw other people under the bus to make himself look good
Is there a chance Danny was guilty? Sure. Was there a chance he was innocent? Sure. But in all honesty, the way he behaved on the bus, how he was willing to jump in to try and save that other prisoner, or standing up to the cop, and his overall impartial attitude made me side with and believe him more than I did Justin.
I really liked the way that choice was framed though: the guy with the lesser crime is the more cold and conniving one, while the guy with the worse crime is actually the more moral and loyal one. The whole 'judge, jury, executioner' feel of that scene (learning about their crimes, hearing their sides of the story, then ultimately reaching a verdict) was one of the things that I really liked about Vince's story.
Meh, ultimately I pick Justin because the actor delivered his pain and screaming WAY better than Danny's. It isn't an important choice in the long run, so I don't worry over the moral ambiguities of it after the fact, although I do appreciate them nonetheless. Makes for interesting discussion, if nothing else.
There is no morality involved in who one chooses to live or die. And both crimes are pretty destructive to its victims. If I remember correctly, I chose the alleged sexual deviant because I believed I would increase my survival odds with him.
I liked Justin more so I saved him.
I liked Danny, He had a resorceful air about him.
I like Danny more until it was announced he was a rapist. A rapist is worse than a scammer for obvious reasons. So I went with Justin.
Justin
Justin because Danny was a rapist. I was scared he would come in season two, and try to do something with Clem.
I regret shooting Danny and stayed with Justin. Because of season 2.
Justin didn't rape anyone, so I chose him.
If you point the gun to Danny for to long he reveal that he raped the gril.
I liked Danny at first, even when he said he didn't do it a little bit of me believed him for a second, but I shot him in the end. His crime was worse than Justin's, and that's pretty much what it came to for me. :P
I read that Vince mentions something about being happy Danny was gone by the time he joined Becca and Shel, so maybe he admitted his guilt to Vince.
Bleh, my post reads as if I liked Danny after finding out why he was imprisoned; just making it clear I didn't like him after that. I personally don't think that he wouldn't be on his way to prison if he was innocent.
I'm definitely in the minority, but I didn't kill Danny St. John. I didn't want to kill him just to prove him wrong...also, he was trapped in the unalterable bear trap, so leaving him was a much worse fate.
On my first playthrough of 400 Days I sided with Danny. I really disliked that Justin did not show any remorse for what he did and in fact showed pride in what he did and that he lied to get a lighter sentence....so I said f*ck him
Not exactly. The most you get out of him is either "I know I'm a fuck-up" or "I did some bad shit." He doesn't straight up admit what he did
Justin. Did not like Danny at all.
I won't get along with a rapist. The choice was quite easy.
