It sounded more like a replacement was needed to keep the balance. The North Wind is just a title passed on it seems, so I guess if Mr North came back then Winter would have to give up her position...
I don't know about Mr. Dark, but since Winter has become the new North Wind, she has taken her grandfather's place and thus his role. Doesn't that mean that he is gone forever?
If Geppetto got the position, then he'd probably become a Dictator that we'd love to hate (though I guess same can't be said about mundies living under his rule, huh And I'd guess Geppetto would try to rig the election everytime so he would rule indefinitely......That's actually a frightening thought....)?
Regardless of how Rose dies, I want to know how that overpowered @#$#$@#$ prick Brandish dies. I really hope it's not a death by simply Grimble finding and destroying his heart. If that's the case, I'll be really disappointed. If there's one Fable that needs to be ripped apart (to shreds) into non-existence by Bigby, it's Brandish.
Option 3: Yes I would also be devastated
Option 2: Ah, now I was only pointing out that this was something Jack would pull off, I know h… moree can't because he's trapped in that universe... I could see Cole gaining the position, or maybe another Fable perhaps? Imagine if Geppetto got it...
Option 1: In the end, I wouldn't care if Snow stabbed Rose or if Bigby ripped her apart, I would PREFER it if Snow killed her so that the prophecy is fulfilled...
Geppetto as the Dictatorial President of the United States of America... yeah I could see that happening tbh :P
Brandish, I wonder if he'll live? Hear me out, have him work himself to death somewhere where he will never be able to escape from. A lifetime of misery and torture instead of the much quicker release of death... Now that would be something

A place where Brandish can never escape from? That does sound interesting.
On the other hand, I don't think Brandish ever had any fear of death since he got his overpowered spells glossed all over him. Because he was unkillable, he always maintained his vastly annoying smirk and cocky attitude (which I hate with passion).
I guess I just wanna see Brandish's face of him realizing he's gonna die, just like all those he's killed over centuries (before succumbing to his death). That expression would be classic.

I think my friend who I talk to about Fables a lot said it best about Brandish (he doesn't read the comics, but he has watched me play TWAU a lot and cuz I never shut up about either, he remembers stuff):
He said that if Brandish is killed off in the last issue, then it will be the most satisfying and enjoyable moment for him to die, because you've been waiting so long for it happen. You're literally praying for his demise!
HOWEVER, if Brandish is made to work himself to death. He is treated like a slave, and has no say in his predicament, then he will suffer for a very long time before he dies. The Fables will all die eventually of old age at least, Bufkin is proof of that, so it could be centuries or thousands of years before Brandish's suffering ends...
Would you want him to have an easy death, a violent death will be painful until the last moments. Or multiple lifetimes of suffering before Death's embrace takes this broken being?

No one replaced Mr Dark though
If you like the part of the cover we've shown, I suspect you'll really like the full wrap-around cover. Does it contain every character ever in Fables? I believe it does. Can't swear to it, because I'm still spotting new ones.
I think when Rose killed Leigh, she must have been influenced by the darkness in Leigh, I mean, it was rather sudden that she decided to take the ring to control Bigby for herself.
I know that Rose comes from a lineage where sisters fight each other, but I think we should also look at the possibility of Mr. Dark's influence is still present.
Oh yeah she did didn't she :P
Maybe Rose has become the new Mr Dark? XD
Oooohhhh wait, that means whoever kills Rose will become the new Mr Dark surely?! :O

It is said in various sites that the Casket of Primordial winds can imprison and destroy all powerful beings.
I'm not so sure if the casket was opened, they will simply return as they were before. I get the feeling it will be more like a Pandora's box - once these beings enter the caskets, their life forces are extinguished (i.e. completely killing them).
But their essence of power and evil remain in the box, and should the casket be opened this power and evil will be released into the world causing chaos (but no return of North and Mr. Dark)?
I think I remember somewhere in the comics since there is always darkness (since light cannot exist without darkness), there will be another Mr. Dark, but this one, has no memories or grudges against the Fables / Fabletown like his predecessor (Not sure who said it, maybe it was Hope), and it was not Miss Dark (or Leigh).

Where Brandish is involved I get very evil thoughts so i like the torture idea :P however I just love the idea of Bigby taking him in a proper fight without that magic sword. Also I don't see Gepetto being allowed run for president...but what if our foxy friend Reynard got to work his charms and become president? Or maybe since fable town is discovered by Mundys it is declared a separate country like the Vatican and King Cole is the President? Also is anyone else dying to know what went down with Bigby and Dare?

The Wolf Among us got me into the Fable comics.. It's nice to know they finished the series because now I have all of it to look forward to! YES!
I love everything about the game and the comic. Too good to be true. Also! If you guys finished this comic, try Saga.. It's very similar and amazing
Jesus, my bad feeling is that Snow dies from a thorn, but I dont think Willingham would post 2 huge spoilers about how Snow or Rose would die.
Edit: Wow, Im late on that
Nah, his Last Story shows he stays in Haven with Ride and their kids.
I agree with someone's suggestion, think it was @CoolGuyJ that it c… moreould be King Cole who becomes President.
If Jack fucking Horner was still alive then he would be applying as a candidate...
Thank goodness he's still dead (no offense Poogers, but I just hate Jack to the bone)....
As long as he's dead, I don't care what he is (in his "Afterlife world", he just basically created an alternate universe for himself and Gary, where they are basically Gods, so can't see him wanting anything else)....
Cole on the other hand, I can see him taking on the challenge (and actually be good at the job) - since he was the Mayor of Fabletown for centuries and ambassador between Fabletown and Arabian Fables (when Charming was Mayor). He definitely has the experience to back it up.
God, if Snow dies, then I'll be crying at the corner of my room and probably be depressed for weeks.
Actually don't mind Rose getting killed by Bigby, I hated (and still hate) her from start of the Camelot Arc (before then, she was going around between so-so to ok to annoying). I wouldn't shed a tear even if she died.
Fable becoming a President, now this would be interesting to see - I'd like to see King Cole be the President!!

None of us want it to happen, but it COULD happen. Yes, they deserve a happily ever after, but then again so did Elizabeth in BAS (That finale was one of only three videogame moments that made me cry).
If she were to die, I at least hope that her death will not be shakesphearean in nature.

Leigh either succeeded or attempted to take Mr. Dark's place, before Rose kindly stabbed her.
Oh yeah she did didn't she :P
Maybe Rose has become the new Mr Dark? XD

Welcome to the forums! Thanks for making one of the best stories/series I've ever experienced and can't wait to read FABLES #150

A thousand gramercies and cookies to you for creating Fables.
pours a glass of scotch for everyone on this forum
Let us toast to this symphonic harmony of illustrated pages and text that is Fables
Bill Willingham! I didn't even know you had a TT account! Thanks for writing my absolute favorite comics series! You're the best!
Hello Mr. Willingham.I'd like to ask you about Fables the Movie any info on this topic ? Please share! You are the BEST!

It was when Bellflower (Frau Totenkinder) talked to Dunster.

One more month left before we receive our Farewell.
It's nearly 3 months away ...
Isn't it July 22nd?
Jesus, my bad feeling is that Snow dies from a thorn, but I dont think Willingham would post 2 huge spoilers about how Snow or Rose would die.
Edit: Wow, Im late on that
I say a Fable will become President!!! XD
But who? Flycatcher? ;3
Nah, his Last Story shows he stays in Haven with Ride and their kids.
I agree with someone's suggestion, think it was @CoolGuyJ that it could be King Cole who becomes President.

Id take Jack for president ;3
Fuck that, King Cole all the way!! XD
Thank goodness he's still dead (no offense Poogers, but I just hate Jack to the bone)....

Yes, it is.
Make that 2 of us, but I'd be sad for the rest of my life T_T
Sorry for my false information, I honestly thought it would arrive in June...
It's fine, the original release date was indeed June, but it got moved to July 22nd
Let us keep our tear ducts in order so that in the event it does happen, we shall cry gloriously!
Sad...I hope it means more pages for us.
I don't want it to happen
Bigby and Snow deserve their happily ever after! TOGETHER!
From what I remember reading on the Vertigo website, the main story of issue 150 will be 80 pages long, while the other 70 pages will be for Last Stories...
That is a lot of pages for Last Stories. It must be serving as an epilogue for our main characters rather than just Boy Blue.
None of us want it to happen, but it COULD happen. Yes, they deserve a happily ever after, but then again so did Elizabeth in BAS (That finale was one of only three videogame moments that made me cry).
If she were to die, I at least hope that her death will not be shakesphearean in nature.
Yes, Burial at Sea Episode 2 did make me cry, along with MGS3 and MGS4... :')
What other games did you cry at?
