Possible - Additional Episode DLC?

Do you think, that (in some rare case) that, as a form of an apology for many fans finding disappointment in 'The Walking Dead: Season Two', they will release the DLC as free (to those who have already purchased all episodes of Season Two/Season Pass). I have a strong feeling the DLC may be different depending on what ending you got, and will end with Clementine in the same situation but under different circumstances, which could affect her in different ways.

Nick Breckon wrote some of the best episodes of the season, and many fans took a liking to him. He was a writer on '400 Days', so DLC is his thing, essentially. Do you think he'll return to be the writer, or will it be multiple, including Shorette?

Do you agree? Would you think this is a good idea? Personally, I doubt they'd go ahead with this. But hey, it'd be a nice surprise.

I doubt it, a lot of people love TWD S2. If there is a DLC it will be 5 dollars.

  • I don't like Breckon, I'd prefer Mark Darin or Pierre Shorette to be the writer.

And I doubt it. iIf it's free it'll probably be lower quality, that's my opinion though.

Nick Breckon would be the most likely choice, everyone else who wrote for S2 is currently busy with something else.

    1. Andrew Grant: GOT
    2. Mark Darin: TFTBL
    3. Pierre Shorette: TFTBL
    4. Eric Stirpe: TFTBL and Minecraft
    5. J.T. Petty: doesn't work at Telltale
    6. Sean Ainsworth: TFTBL
    7. Stephen McManus: TFTBL

And no, the DLC will not be free, even if there were some disappointed with S2, Telltale is still a business, they can't put something out there for free that they worked on.

  • Telltale doesnt need to apologies for people who didnt like episode 5.

  • Well the whole season in itself felt lacking to others, and I agree there were odd changes. More linearity, odd story structure, no hubs, shorter episodes, etc. It felt like maybe Telltale attempted a more cinematic route, but it didn't settle with fans.

They pretty much have my dream team working on Tales right now

All of my favorite directors and writers are working on it

  • Personally, I'd like the DLC to be Mike dealing with Arvo after the events of the last episode.

  • Apologize lol no. It's not Telltale's fault if the story didn't match your taste. Plenty of people like S2. This possible DLC is just something they are following for what they did in S1.

  • it seems its hinted to be multiple things, possible "Plot Hole Fixers" that tell us possibly...

    • Pre-Clem cabin group
    • Christa's fate
    • Mike/Arvo after leaving
    • 400 days group arriving at Howe's

Wait.... I just realized... didn't Telltale say the 400 days group would play a big role in season 2?... Maybe they weren't lying at all...

Telltale doesn't need to apologize for anything, they wrote what they did, I didn't like it, and I won't be buying whatever they're going to be selling next. But I think it is a little much to assume they'll hand it out for free just because some of us were disappointed with S2.
