The Carver one is seriously the only thing that makes me really question the writers, having Carver beat Kenny with his injured arm, and able to shoot Alvin (even at point blank range) is ridiculous. Being realistic at all, in 203 it doesn't even seem that Carver had his arm treated as its the same texture and everything, he would have bled out. Also, him beating Kenny with THAT SAME ARM would seriously injure it. Carver would be in more pain then Kenny at that moment. Either the writers should have re-written that part or just make it Carvers left arm that was shot instead would make so much more sense.
What about Kenny getting his stomach slashed by Jane? What about Jane shoving her finger in his injured eye? Why did the St. Johns consider Mark to be dead if he just go shot in the shoulder? (goes with Brenda's line "We go after folks who are gonna die anyway!" but counter argued with Danny's "Like y'all" comment pretty much saying they are gonna kill them anyway. +1 for writers there).
Hold did Shawn survive even though pretty much the same thing happened to him when you saved Duck?
Unfortunately we could go on for days about this, and it would really just make us dislike the game. But I do think it could have been written to avoid things like that :DDDDDDD
The way this game handles getting shot in general seems pretty unrealistic/inconsistent
Clementine should probably be in a lot more pain … morein general. And, same with Clementine, Mike holding the baby with his shot arm should have been painful too.
The two times Carver can be shot (By Kenny through the shoulder and by Clementine through the cheek) has little consequence to the way he physically carries himself and beats others, at least until Kenny shoots his knees.
Kenny was shot in Season 1 Episode 2 in his abdomen also with not as much of a consequence, until he has to lift you onto stuff.
Molly can be determinately shot in the shoulder, and still fight walkers afterwards. Granted, she still loses her fight and has to be seperated from the group, so we don't know how that plays out.
Nick gets shot in the shoulder area too. We don't really know how that affects him afterwards, but we know he lives long enough to follow Luke to t… [view original content]
I think they should have done two things regarding Carver and his wound:
1) Make the shot more difficult in the first place, have him hide behind Alvin more or stand at a hard to hit angle
2) Have Kenny actually miss the shot on Carver, which prompts him to immediately shoot Alvin to prove that he's really, really not fucking around. It'd also help to outline how dumb and risky it is trying to take potshots at people in the middle of a hostage situation.
What about Kenny getting his stomach slashed by Jane?
I always got the notion that it wasn't a very deep cut, hence why he's still able to fight and not bleed out from it. Sometimes simple wounds bleed a lot more than you'd expect, which makes them look a lot worse than they really are.

1) I agree, maybe even possibly making Kenny hit Alvin instead or something
2) That could help incredibly with the "tension" with Kenny and the others, who can scold him for being dumb that like that even though they already did I guessEDIT I just realized I just said the exact same thing as you on that one lol
Also, Kenny should have learned from Walt dying, but I'm assuming Kenny thought he could get a kill shot on Carver. Also Kenny should have talked about his motive for wanting to kill Carver more, (after they are taken to Howe's) being wanting to avenge Walter. I mean in the 203 preview he did so...

Thank you! I felt this was a problem with playing as her. That's why I'm against playing as her again. The other useless, dumbasses relied on her for everything. I know grown men who would be dead in her shoes
You're naming tasks that are so menial that they're not worth mentioning. You're really trying hard to make S1 to be the same as S2 when it … moreso obviously isn't. All the 'jobs' you've listed is something that is possible for Clementine and makes sense within the story, each one meaning something to here character.
In S2 it's
'yo clem have this plot Armour and go be relevant to the player and turn on this windmill." She's never learnt how to turn on a windmill. Never had to nor will she ever need to. Unlike in your points where she is specifically taught how to use a gun and the results are a consequences of that.
The difference between Clementine's contribution to the group in S1 and S2 was how they were portrayed.
The list you provided in Season 1 showed that while Clementine can contribute to the group, the tasks given to her or done from her own initiative were usually reasonable to do for her age. Only she remembered that there was a cane in the office when the adults were too busy defending the base and it was reasonable for her to go and fetch it since she knew where it was, and Clementine was the only one small enough to fit through the doggy door to unlock the door, and even then the player can choose to praise her or scold her for doing things on her own without the adult's permission.
The air vent task in the locker room was a little more complicated but still reasonable since not only Clementine was the only one small enough to fit through, the adults were shown to be uncomfortable and reluctant to have a child go off on her own in a dangerous situation and were clearly terrified that she could get caught sneaking out.
In Season 2 not only she grew to be competent at a ridiculous degree, her competence ended up overshadowing the majority of the cast to the point where only an eleven-year-old was the most able out of everyone. Why couldn't Alvin just get off his backside and search the small cabin himself? He proved he could when he speaks to Clementine later on in the building, so why make it out that only Clementine could do it at the time? As for the windmill, everyone is stumped on how to use a key and leaves a child alone to deal with it as walkers approaching when it would be more logical for an adult to do it and have Clementine stay inside the building out of harms way.
And then there's Clementine breaking the group out of Carver's community singlehandedly, and the majority of the adults pushes her to carry out the more difficult tasks, ignoring the fact that she's just an eleven year old girl. The whole scene is set up that only a child could so it, but the group never considers that perhaps an adult could easily do just as much as a child would, if not more. Compared to Season 1, Clementine was practically surrounded by slave drivers. I'm surprised Amid The Ruins didn't have Clementine deliver Rebecca's baby via QTE a la Beyond: Two Souls...perhaps the writers had some standards at the time.
Why not, if people can make excuses for Season 1, why can't we do it for Season 2? If you look at both seasons, Season 1 has just as much st… moreory issues as Season 2. For example, Clementine, while being in a group of adults, doing a good amount of the work, peeople criticize this about Season 2 all the time, but she did similar stuff in Season 1.
* Who grabbed the cane to use in front of the door at the pharmacy? Clem
* Who snuck through the air vent to help the group escape the St. John's? Clem
* Who helped Lee at the train station by unlocking the door and getting into the fenced area? Clem
* Who snuck through the doggy door and unlocked the door? Clem
* Who can shoot the walker attacking Molly? Clem
* Who can have a say in what to do with Ben after he tells Kenny? Clem
* Who can kill The Stranger if Lee fails to do so? Clem
Stored gasoline and diesel degrade with time (fuel still can last for a couple of years, if stored properly). Assuming oil refineries work no more, there will be no suitable fuel for generators, cars, etc. in like 3 to 5 years time. How do they deal with that in the comics?

A few things I'd like to point out about that trash ass lake scene
The whole lake scene has to be one of the biggest emotionally artifici… moreal fuck up of a scene I have ever seen. None of it made sense.
1. Build up to it made no sense (really running in front of gun fire are you mentally deficient or just plain stupid),
2: It felt forced (Seriously you dumb bastards just walk around it it's not an ocean it's a lake)
3 Can't save Luke but you can save that useless junkie, Bonnie in a way that makes no sense at all.
4 Afterwards a spit in the face because the only time in the season it focuses on relationships is for 2 damn cut scenes
The cast sucks and are USELESS FUCKING IDIOTS
Luke: Good but monumentally ruined in a Ben fashion from episode 3 - 5
Pete: Had promise but killed off way too early
Nick: Ended up being completely useless. If saved in Episode 2 doesn't say SHIT in episode 3 and dies in Episode 4
Alvin: La… [view original content]

I'm pretty sure Arvo never wanted his group to start shooting. If anything it was either Clementine or Kenny who started the crossfire by shooting Rebecca, who reanimated.
How do they deal with that in the comics?
They stop relying on vehicles and other things that run on gas, diesel, and other fuels
… more Horse-drawn carriages for transportation, windmills, solar panels and other such sources of energy for power, you get the idea
After around 3 years into the comics, there's barely any cars or generators being used, save for some lucky exceptions
I'm pretty sure Arvo never wanted his group to start shooting. If anything it was either Clementine or Kenny who started the crossfire by shooting Rebecca, who reanimated.
I never understood Kenny's alleyway 'death' in season 1. Why did he lock the gate if he was just going to shoot Ben and then fight his way out? I thought he was going in there so he could put Ben out of his misery and then let the walkers kill him. He could've just shot Ben and then carried on with Lee to the Marsh house, it just confuses me.
Technically, he was robbed. Regardless of whether you take the medicine or not Arvo leaves without his gun, his only means of self-defence, which was forcibly taken by Jane earlier.
Besides, we don't know whether he was the one to bring up the plan to ambush the group or his group forced him to scout them out and act as the translator and mediator. Not robbing him implies that he was forced by his group to take part in the ambush, since he was apologetic towards Clementine.
He still said he told his group that they robbed him. Also, why would he go back for his freaking gun? Medicine is more important than GUNS. Guns are only used to defend ourselves when medicine are used prevent people's injuries and sicknesses. Also I think Jane is the reason Arvo ambushed the group because she was such a bitch towards him for no reason.

If we were robbed we'd probably tell our group what happened, and I doubt they'd let the robbery go, especially Kenny who is very well known to hold grudges. The Russians aren't all that different from Clementine's group, they just happened to be the one that Jane (and possibly Clementine) robbed, and they were the ones who acted first out of vengeance.
Guns are important in a zombie apocalypse due to their range, since not everyone is going to want to risk using melee weapons close up and risk getting bitten. If a gun gets stolen from you, and you don't have any other weapon on you, how are you going to fight off walkers on your way back to your group? Especially when you have a leg brace?
And you're right, Jane is entirely responsible for the ambush, and she suffers no consequences for it since she's never implicated for it. Had she not robbed him, pointed his own weapon on him, and encourage Clementine to steal medicine that was for his sister, there's a chance that Arvo and his group wouldn't have come back and ambushed us.

Why would the game say characters are gonna "remember" that when they were about to die? Here are the examples:
Shawn Greene. The game said he won't forget what Lee said about killing walkers, but died 10 minutes later.
Mark. The game said he noticed what Lee said about staying at St. John's Dairy, but died when he stayed inside the house after the bandit ambush,
Carley. If Carley was saved, the game will say she will remember Lee defending her from Lilly or accusing her for dealing with the bandits.
Dee. The game can say she will remember Bonnie calling her a bitch, but dies 10 minutes later.
Christa. The game can say she will remember what Clem said about Lee or Omid, but disappears in the matter of seconds (I dunno when she is gonna return).
Pete. If Pete was saved, the game can say he will remember Clem's promise to look after Nick EVEN though he was bitten and about to die.
Alvin. If Alvin was saved, the game can say he will remember Clem trying to convince him to come with her, but dies in the matter of seconds.
Sarita. If you didn't chop her arm off, the game can say she will remember Clem saying it's gonna be okay EVEN though she was bitten.
Sarah. The game says she will remember Clem talking about life and survival but dies in the matter of seconds or 30 minutes later.

True, but sometimes you just have to use whatever you have on you to defend yourself, even if you're taking the risk of attracting walkers with the noise.
Then again, the story is fickle when it comes to whether guns attracts walkers or not. Bonnie unloads her AK right in the middle of a hoard, and not one of them right next to her pays any attention whatsoever.
For feels/to throw you off. The shock value actually worked for Carley/Doug because it fooled players into lowering their defenses.
Now, of course, I think it's a cliche that's become obsolete. Season 2 of TWD was lazily-written, so that it didn't actually matter one iota whether a character "remembered" how you treated them or not.

Also, when did Kenny become faster than a speeding bullet.
Also, she just dropped it for no reason and it's never seen or used later. What a genius. We didn't even have an option to keep it for ourselves.

Most logical explanation is plot armor
Pretty much, yeah.
How about the fact that everybody thinks Clem is Lee's daughter when there's no option to say she's your daughter in Episode 1
True very true.
Well, I don't see much problem here. Clem's part black, you know. I would assume the same seeing them two together.
How about even after the fact he states she's not his child?
Did he mention that? I can't really remember.
