FYI people, Nicole Martinez is working on writing for this DLC. Done work on GOT I believe and TWAU
https://twitter.com/n_martinez6/status/610653331015401472
That's awesome, she's a fantastic writer and I have loved her work on both games, so glad to hear she's working on TWD. Hope she, Pierre Sho… morerette, and Nick Breckon will be S3's main writers.
She has written:
* TWAU: Smoke and Mirrors
* TWAU: A Crooked Mile
* TWAU: Cry Wolf
* GOT: The Lost Lords
* GOT: Sons of Winter
Names walkers in files - Michael and Terry, a guy Michon and his friend. She relieved them from suffering in the comics.
Think we are shown at the beginning of the episode 1 prequel or is created only for the key-art?

I know I'm probably way late on this, but it sucks we won't be seeing any of the other 400 days characters like nate or eddie again but even though I have no clue about who this character is since I don't watch the show or read the comics, at least it's something rather than nothing to tide us over until season 3, so I'm looking forward to this mini series
Job implied we'll get more news for the mini-series in the next 2-3 weeks, and to expect news at PAX. They also passively implied to expect a "new franchise" (basically the first Super Show) at PAX too.
EDIT: Season 3 is still a "long ways off," and will be "considerably larger" and "a more significant undertaking." Also, expect more info after the Michonne series ends. At this point, they don't know who the protagonist will be and how the story will tie into Season 2 or Michonne.
EDIT 2: He said that Telltale hears the demand for more Wolf Among Us, but that they aren't working on anything right now. However, he put emphasis on right now.
Job said we don't know yet how Season 3 will connect to Season 2. Which implies it will connect. I'm hoping for Clementine. Actually I'm striving for him to just say "Clementine is going to be in it". Nothing else, just this one statement I need.

Literally nothing worthwile in my opinion.
Season 3 is a long way off, but it going to be something "larger". We dont know yet who the characters will be. Much more talk was about the Michonne miniseries, but no big news on that front either. It's coming this fall, 3 episodes, taking the comic books side of the storytelling, about the time Michonne was away. There were also lots of shoutouts to Walking Dead voice actors, and they even mentioned it would have been cool to have Dave Fennoy do the voice acting for Ezekiel, but they didn't go with it.
I played it back a couple times and finally heard - he said Season 3 would be a "significant undertaking," which doesn't surprise me given how Season 2 ended.
They also implied they will show more info on Michonne and "a new franchise" (I'm guessing their first original IP for the Super Show format) at PAX. Additionally, we might even get some additional Michonne info in 2-3 weeks.

We knew nothing about Lee, Clem or the 400 days lot before we played the game/DLC and I enjoyed those (though I would have liked the DLC to be longer) so it's worth the chance.
You actually make a good point. TellTale can't do anything that will make it seem like we altered her character from what the comics has set up. I believe that through our interactions with other soon-to-be-announced characters, we will 1) learn more about Michonne and her past and 2) effect these characters in a way where they could possibly be used in TWD: Season 3.
Personally I don't give a monkeys about this Michonne character. Yes I've read some of the comics and know her backstory, but it doesn't int… moreerest me in the slightest.
I will play the game, and make a final judgement then. However, in my personal opinion telltale are making a massive mistake. One they may regret.
I'm not talking about not having Clementine in the game either, although that still could happen.
No, I'm speaking about telltale messing with an already well established character like Michonne. One mistake that's all it will take, and the pitch forks will be out.
So, if TWD: Season 3 is supposed to be "larger" is some way, shape, or form, could this possibly mean that they may consider making it a super show? I'm not saying they will because I feel like that would be an extremely risky move, just speculating here.
Comments
With this great writing the Michoone game will better then season 2 and make sense.
Am in the minority but I hated Christa with a passion, am glad we got Michonne over her tbh
She wrote Cry Wolf? Well then, she's automatically one of my favorite writers just for that episode alone.
She's writing? Okay, I'm starting to feel a little better.

Well co-wrote I should say, she did it along side Adam Hines.
I think the file names are just references to the two
She has a new Mike and a new Terry, so to speak
Can't wait to see what Michonne was up to, season 2 was boring and i am not going to get season 3.
Her sword doesn't look right at all to me. She looks like she is holding more of a falchion sword and not a katana.
According to people who read the comic Michonne left her katana behind when she left during this time period.
She left her katana Ezekiel after issue 126.
P.S. Your GRAVATAR IS BACK!!!
I missed you and it
Everyone has their own opinion.
Season 2 was Incredible and amazing.
Oh okay that explains it. My bad, I didn't know.
Alright. Sorry I didn't know.
And I thought maybe I should go back to it because I had it for so long at one point.
Everything is okay
I'm glad to see you here again
You're talking to the resident "I fucking hate everything Telltale has done since S1" guy of the forum
I think that explains it well enough
Ahhh, I see. Well, let me ignore him. As we learned to do once upon a time regarding a certain forum member who shall not be named.

I would just like to remind everyone that the Gamespot chat will start in around 10 mins.
http://www.gamespot.com/e3/kinda-funny-stage-day-2/
Again, I just see a fixed picture. Did they start yet?
It's supposed to start at 2:30 PDT, not 2:20, so we actually have like 5 more minutes. Still, though, looking forward to it.
Not yet, they were talking to someone from Playstation and went on a quick break - presumably to set the next interview up.

And the MARVEL thing...?
That's in 2017 - a looong way off.

That was pretty interesting, i recorded it for anyone who missed it i but will upload it to youtube later.
Another thing to add... Greg has no chill for TWAU! What is wrong with him....
I know, I just want to know if it's connected to the MCU, or not!!!
Why am I not surprised?
We don't know as Telltale won't be talking about the game for quite a while.
Literally nothing worthwile in my opinion.

That makes me excited :P

What is the ''super show format''? i don't really understand what they mean when they say this?
