That's what I was thinking, too. I don't know how I feel about Clem not being the protagonist. I guess if she's still in the season, I'd trust that TellTale knows what they're doing... argh, I dunno.
The fact that they're trying to decide who the protagonist is worries me. It makes me think that hey won't be continuing Clementine's story if they were it couldn't be that hard the only options would be Clem or AJ.
People you need to think more...
If there is no Clem in S3,they would have renamed Season 3 to "The Walking Dead 2:season one".
THIS Walking Dead game is hers story, you cant just make another season that doesnt link on previous(it is just dumb if they do that)

I kind of have a problem with the idea of AJ being the next protagonist. His dialogue options would be reduced to [Crying] [Puke] [Grab and yank Clem's hair] and [Cry more]
I don't think that we'll see Christa ever again. Not after what Telltale said about her - "sometimes the person we know disappears from our life and we never have a chance to figure out what happened with that person". Or something like that. I remember that they were asked about her after the release of episode 1 from season 2 or somewhere during season 2 but I remember that they said something like that.
Shame that I couldn't find the source. In this case, you can either believe me or stick with the hope that maybe she'll come back.
Really wow I thought not playing as this overpowered emotionless child was just a pipedream, good to know there is an actual possibility. Still nearly certain we will be playing as her though
I hope season 3 comes out in winter (which means it'll be summer for me that day) so that I wouldn't have to wait for school to finish, so it'll be the holidays for me! (yay)!!
I think they are trying to a new protangoist, because they kinda screwed up with the multiple endings of season 2, where they wrote it without any inkling of where the story would go next.
They're always making games this way. When they ended with season 1 they had no idea at first in which direction go in season 2. At least, that's what they said. At first they weren't even sure who will be a protagonist in season 2 so this situation with season 3 isn't suprising in my opinion.

I'm not sure if you got what they're saying... It can't go past the comics timeline, that means AJ is going to be a baby in S3, and I don't think there's much to do when you're baby :P
And that changes... what? "Season 3" means that it will be a continuation of the story from previous seasons so I guess they are trying to figure out how to connect them.
Oh, yes! I thought it was in some text interview but I watched it and I found this part about Christa starting around 6:00-6:10 and its mentioned to around 7:00.
I hope they handle this well though. It will be rather disappointing if they just do a time skip and then change a few lines of dialogue depending on your ending.

I guess there will be some kind of timeskip between Season 2 and 3. I hope so too that they'll at least try to do something more than just a few different dialogues.

Yes but "considerably larger" can mean anything. More episodes than usual? Different gameplay based on your choices in previous seasons? More than one protagonists? It's too soon for us to know.
I'm guessing that when they say "considerably larger", Telltale means it will still be a typical 5 episode Season with normal length episodes, but the scope of the story will be more ambitious as they tell different stories depending on which of the different endings you got for Season 2 - at least, for a while, before merging them back together like half way through the Season or something.

I've to admit - this sound interesting and it's something I was guessing a while ago but with only one episode and then everything could tie up in episode 2. Still, this idea is good in my opinion though you'll probably find people here who will tell you that this is too much work for Telltale or that it's stupid to make story different based on the endings from Season 2 and then merge story together because "in that case our choices doesn't really matter".

I do appologize I get very busy an not much time to explain. What I mean is if the keep Kenny or Jane ... Idk it just seems hard when some have killed one an the others killed the other. Its a pain. I want Kenny to stay due to the connection with Lee but I don't find it very worth while when others have killed them off ... Does that make since...I do apologize if it doesnt
I got Tales from the borderlands. It was part of the collection. Play first 2 episodes of it. And it is awesome. I loved it
Gonna start with ep3 this week
Lessons learned though I am gonna wait next for sometime after first episode of any title. It seems they reduce prices or make great offers later after the release.
Try not to get your hopes up for a second season of TWAU as it seems highly unlikely. Have you tried Tales from the Borderlands or Game Of Thrones yet, or are you going to wait for all the episodes to be released?
Story was well written. When I started playing Season 2. I made tough decision for Clem (as a child) I felt myself being developing. I wouldn't have made those choices in normal life. or even early in the apocalypse like in season 1. But after living through the world. facing humans and dead I started to change.
I guess I'm 50% ready for the apocalypse now
What a lovely story indeed. I have to admit though, way back in 2012 I turned a blind eye towards the TWD game, but I played the demo anyway… more. I was hooked. I downloaded the whole first episode on iOS, played it, then for some foolish reason (I was a cheapskate back then) decided I didn't want to pay for the other episodes, which I think were all released at that point. Then I made the huge mistake of watching the ending of S1 on Youtube, with the thought that I wasn't going to play the other episodes anyway, so I didn't really feel any emotion, just wasn't expecting it. Fast forward a bit, when last summer I was bored and only had my iPad with me while I was on holiday and I magically remembered S1. So I downloaded it and actually bought the other episodes this time round and at the end, despite already knowing Lee's fate, I cried anyway, I just couldn't hold myself. My main point is the fact that because such a huge spoiler failed to majorly… [view original content]
I miss Lee too, but honestly I don't think it would be possible for him to come back. Not unless he's a walker, which even then that depends on what ending you picked in season one.
Just curious but where did you hear that the game cannot go past the comic book timeline? If you're referring to the Michonne series then yeah they can't go paste the issue that she goes back to Rick in. But if you're referring to season 3 then of course they can go past the comic timeline.....If im wrong please link me RK, DA, or KevBru saying that!
Brace yourself's for my theory as to what IN MY OPINION would be an amazing season.
Well what I'm starting to think is that we will be seeing a 7-episode run for Season 3. The first two episodes will deal solely with the NEW protagonist (Christa is a possible NPC that could have met up with the new playable character during season 2 and until S3 starts) so that they can make it unique and give the new characters a chance to develop before bringing back Clementine in either episode 3 or 4 depending on where you stayed at the end of season 2. If you stayed with Jane at Howe's then we meet her at Howe's just in time for it to get overun or something (if you didn't stay there with Jane at the end of season 2 you will instead see the aftermath of the zombie attack from season 2). If you went to Wellington and stayed with AJ I believe that you will meet up with Clem in Episode 4 when you arrive at Wellington (As i mentioned Christa could be with your new protagonist still trying to get to Wellington).
In Episode 5 we would learn about a similar group to the Washington DC Scavengers/The Wolves from the TV (Not the actual scavengers from the comics/wolves from show) that is threatening the peace and security of Wellington by demanding supplies. We end the episode with the new terror group approaching the gates.
Episode 6 would deal with the war with the new group that is attacking us. We'd maybe lose a main NPC who we care about and we'd kill the leader of the gang. (This would be good end to the season as a whole however....) the episode would end with the camera showing a very large horde of zombies approaching the gate that were alerted by the gunshots.
Episode 7 would be us defending Wellington against the horde of zombies, we'd lose maybe 2 of our favorites new characters this season....but we'd effectively win the war against the zombies by getting everyone in Wellington killing them. The season would end with a hint of hope with us saying how we're going to rebuild. Kind of the like the ending to episode 2 of season 1.
The back half of the season would pretty much mirror the comics but fuck that would be AWESOME.

''Might be the protagonist'' ''or it can be 2 protagonists'' Why you ignore whole comment :-) ?
Ttg ignored her whole season they wanted to say what happened with her but they don't want to.
In theory you could have AJ as a protagonist but there wouldn't be many dialogue options :P

With season 1 it was one ending. Season two has multiple.

I know, but we can play as both Aj for a bit then Clementine. This is the way i see it,because now ttg aplicates again the couple or five protagonists.

No, they were saying that about us - players. Not Clementine. At least, that's what I think.

Like Job said 'considerably larger' - it's mean a lot
And puke! I would totally play that.
Not Christa pls

It is so far away that Telltale don't even say "soon."
