Moving from PS3 to PS4

I have upgraded my system from a Sony PS3 to a PS4. Can I transfer my data and gameplay stats/progress from one console to the other? I guess I can use the Sony Playstation network to re-download the game; just really, really don't want to start all over. Thanks!

    Is it even available on PS4 first find out. And no , you can't just transfer the game. You have to rebuy it on the PS4,
