Christa will be our main target in Season 3
Sorry if you made it. All of season 2 we searching for her mainly. Every episode we asking about her. Yes, she didnt reach Wellington, but still no info of her. That make sense to what can unite these different endings. We won't stay in Wellington for sure because walkers doesnt seem some problem in north and there will be no action. Either, I don't think we still be with AJ in our searching (for example we can leave him to Kenny and move on)

I think we will never see her again.
Look, I don't know what else can tie these endings to not make angry the fans. Still, in every game must be final reach. Just survive and raise the kid? Boring! To meet new folks and survive with them to survive? Pfff. Even in Season 2 our new group I'm sure not very loved by Clem, they're just always asked her to help their mental problems and get some supplies. Same story in S3 but without linking chain with season 1? No way
agree,Clem is constantly if not directly always searching for Christa, good point OP,and it would make sense Clem feels closer to the group remaining from season one than any other person she encounters from now on.
Yes. And the main reason for that is SE1 group (I mean of course adults with she contacted mostly) were all her father and mother figures. Thats why btw I don't think that true Clem will shoot Kenny, for her he is exactly as father as Lee, not just a partner for surviving that can die tomorrow - sorry, bye. Anyway, if we move from popular decision to kill Kenny (near 70%) so she definitely will reach North Carolina or place near this, where she can get info that Christa is alive, it's just shorter to start finding
Didn't they say in a interview that they never intend for Christa to reappear?
Doesn't mean we can't look for her i suppose.
Well they can tell the truth or either hide it. At least I think this is good theory. Also apocalypse is not endless and they can't stretch it for decades. Clem should just find her final purpose and her story closed. Remember business people from SE1 and worthless whiners from SE2? The same over again? Well I hope Telltale know what to do.
I just thinking that Christa would love AJ
Just so you know, you can easily reply to people by hitting the "Reply" button at the bottom left of a person's comment.
Also, the chances of Christa coming back are slim to none, and frankly, I'd rather she stay gone.
I think it will be the opposite. I think there's a good chance we'll play as Christa in Season 3 and our main focus will be to reunite with Clementine. And based on your Season 2 ending and the choices you make through out Season 3, you may or may not succeed.
Thanks for supporting not to waste Christa. I don't think that Telltale will shut Clem story, but you know, it would be awesome idea to split up gameplay between them and they can move towards each other. Clem knows that most important thing is the family and Christa is only one left, who is actually like her close aunt or even mother (Kenny probably deceased by canon). If she would know a little info I am sure she'll set out to find. As for Christa things more difficult, we don't know her condition. But I quess she knowed that Wellington over capacity and stayed to another fort to recover. Maybe she will find a method to contact Edith, I dunno
You don't feel like she will be part of S3 Christa Chronicles. I mean Season two was Kenny Chronicles, we have a unknown character... Maybe a lucky moment...
You know what people say, the best prediction of the future, is past behavior.
I can't wait. I will laugh at people defend it.
In my humble opinion, leaving some loose ends makes the game more realistic. Life moves on, and people come and go. Not every problem nor doubt will be resold, because we cannot.
BUT BUT CHrista Chronicles
After 1-2 years we see that from starting mess people moving to make communities. It's not easy but its in a human nature, thats why I think every apocalypse its just a matter of the time instead death of humanity. Wellington just a one famous fort, but sure there a lot of them. With radiocommunication people start to find each other. Then If Clem will get a chance to know about other people she sticked, she wont say: Ahh whatever, time is moving, I don't care.
But for example Lily or Mike's traders totally loose end cause Clem exactly don't care about them
Christa Chronicles? Umm... now that you put it in that way, sounds like a good DLC.
I call S2 - Kenny Khronicles
I call S3- Christa Chronicles
I just have a feeling she is going to have that lucky moment.
I honestly couldn't care less if Christa made a return. She wasn't as interesting to me as she was to others. And, I'm sure this isn't a very popular opinion, but I really didn't like her at all.
I didn't like Christa at all and really couldn't care less what happened to her, so I hope that's not the case
I don't know what makes Christa special as a character because she isn't in my opinion
Yeah? And my opinion that she stronger and more charismatic than every new person in SE2. Do you remember how Clem react their dead? "Oh, sorry, you dead, move on." But she never lost a hope to meet Christa again. So maybe you will hide your "care less" a little and start to think as she? This is not role-play game
Was that directed at me? If it was then you're right; this isn't a role-playing game, so I don't have to "think as she". Clementine may have cared what happened to Christa but I didn't, that's why my Clementine never asked about her.
Hmmm i would actually hate that im afraid to say. I think its time for all new fresh characters and ideas instead of bringing past characters back. I wouldn't mind however seeing Lilly again or have them explain what happened to Christa
We have to be realistic that the chances of Clem and Christa finding each other again would be so far fetched! I think realistically Clem bumping into Kenny again was unrealistic enough
Leave Christa's fate unknown. The world is a big place. If they want it to be realistic then they'll take inspiration from real life where you become separated from people all the time and never know what became of them.
Personally, I doubt that even if Christa is alive she's looking for Clem. She wasn't really happy with her in All that remains was she?
Role-play game is when your character think as you. Clem don't think like you, I'm sorry, because even if you don't askin about Christa, she stucked in your head, that's why you always has option to mention her till the end. And even your final decision who you choose to stick with, this is not your rational , it's the irresistible impulse of little girl.
You think after 16 month of routine survivng and moving Christa in some random day will play and dancing with Clem and smiling all over? This is awful hypothesis that Christa didn't like stick with Clem, what are you talkin about?
A big world without miracles where Kenny get out of dead situation in Savannah and met Clem in random place? This is the game man
Not sure where you got your definition, but that is not role-playing. Role-playing is pretending to be someone else. The character doesn't "think as you", you think as the character. I don't have to think as Clementine because, as you've said, this isn't a role-playing game. Clementine cared about Christa, I didn't.
This game don't let you feel free with your own opinion that's what I'm talking about. She seems worried about situation where you don't worry or even laughing. Telltale games made her cared about Christa, like you or don't like it. They ressurected Kenny, they will ressurect another old person sure you. That's why this is EP3. And don't forget, they must tie endings and build a bridge from past events
What is even the point of this? I don't have to like Christa if I don't want to. If Telltale chose to bring Christa back then that's their decision. I'd just prefer if she stayed gone.
Me either mostly, if we take SE1. But with comparison to awful (for me) SE2 characters she seems nice. And my topic not about like/didnt like, its about what can be in SE3 with Telltale passion to ressurect old persons. If I want to make topic Do you like Christa and want to come her back, I'll do. All the point
I'm well aware of what your topic was about, that's why I posted that I don't want her in Season 3 because I don't like her. And in my opinion, she was not a better character than the (I assume you mean) Season 2 characters. I found myself caring a thousand times more about some of them than I ever did about Christa.
I can respect that. Me personally I'm just ready to get away from Clementine for awhile. Whether the new protagonist is someone we know (Lilly, Molly, Christa, 400 days cast) or someone brand new doesn't matter. But Christa makes the most sense because, like it or not, Clementine is going to play a role in the storyline, and aside from Kenny and Jane (both determinate), she's the only person left in the world that possibly gives a damn about Clementine.
(We can't keep expecting random strangers to want to go out of their way to bring Clementine into their group and look after her. From a story-telling stand point it's starting to become repetitive and asinine. And from a realistic stand point, you'd think after hearing this girls backstory other survivors would be kind of wary about having her around because statistically its synonymous with suicide. Every group she's been apart of has fallen apart : /. I'm not saying its all her fault or that I'm superstitious, but the kid is clearly bad luck).
I say possibly because through Christa, we as the player can decide whether we even want to reunite with Clementine. After Omid and the baby its pretty unclear how Christa even feels about Clementine.... in her mind, getting separated from the little plot cloud of death could've been the best thing to happen to her in the past 16 months. Or maybe she really does love and care about Clem despite her cold attitude and is desperate to find her. From the player pov of that scenario, its a question of wanting to continue Clem's story, or wanting to move on and start fresh. We've already torn through Savannah as Lee to save Clementine once before, and I think it'd be interesting for fans to decide whether we'd want to do that again through Christa.
I assume that you won't be glad to meet some "loose end" in SE3? Only new characters? But do you agree that our final point of destination in SE2 it's just a 20-30 minute of gameplay maximum then all points will move to one?
I hope that main characters won't be pair of Michonne - Clem, man
If she comes back, i'd like a better explanation of how did she survive instead of the "Really Lucky" generic response
I think it's a really good possibility, and a really good idea. I have been itching to see Christa again since we were seperated.
In fact i think it would be really cool if we got to see Christa and Michonne meet up in one of those episodes first. They both have had very similar things happen to them, with the losses of their children, and i would love to see them help each other move on a bit. Then go their own ways.
Then for season 3 with Clem, and a new baby. I think it's the ideal set up for Christa and Clem to move past whatever the hell happened to Christa and Omid's baby. i don't think for a minute that Clem has given up on finding her again, and hopefully Christa hasn't given up on Clem either. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying they have to stay together or anything, but just to have them reunite for a while and know that the other is okay would be enough for me.
I kind of hope, - what with all the things that Telltale is doing with Tales from the Borderlands lately - that we will have an opportunity to customize the group we want for season 3, pick the types of people we want to roll with (out of a specified set), and maybe be able to pick up different types of clothes (like say, we find 2 different jackets - one is leather and one is camo, we choose which would suit our survivor better) or weapons to trick out 'our Clementine'. I mean, we know it's possible now Telltale, don't let us down!
I don't understand what you're asking me
This is not Clem's bad luck that everyone's dying, it's just look like it, cuz these groups in our game's focus. Or you think that only Clem's group always dying and other folks already forgot about apocalypse and live their relaxing life? The problem of SE2 group was that they are completely jerks (except their leader Pete) , not because Clem's bad luck or Kenny's moving forward attitude
Yes that was just lazy/rushed writing
as if anyone gives a fuk about christa
Kenny can reappear if you kill him no one shoots him in the head he will come back as a walker. So if clem loves kenny as much as lee why does't she do that
I would like to see a new protagonist, but I would also like to know what happened to those 400 Days characters (especially I would like to know what happened to those who didn't go with Tavia). I think that Lilly and Molly are out of the question, because they left the group without intention of coming back. Christa on the other hand didn't leave Clem on purpose and she was heading north (towards the general direction of Wellington) when we last saw her.
While I don't think that Christa and Clem should necessarily reunite, I think that she would make much more interesting protagonist than Clem and you could start her story from that 16-months timeskip during which she lost her baby. And soon after she would also lose Clem. Examining how she survives from her traumas would make an interesting story.
