If I already bought Season 2, will Michonne be free?

I was wondering if this DLC is something I will need to pay extra for, or if it's already included when the season is bought.

  • It's completely new content that has nothing to do with the original game so no you still have to pay.

  • I thought it was a mini-series? I hope it's not connected to the original game.

  • I am going to assume, that TTG will probably charge, I can't remember the last time a video game company provided "undated free content." can you?

  • It's a mini series/DLC for S2.

  • It's a new series, so yes it will cost money. Even 400 Days cost $5.00 on top of what you payed for season 1, and that was just one episode.

I can't imagine why they would do anything for free, they are a company after all. Not a video game charity.

  • No, you won't get it for free. It's separate from the main game.

  • Telltale gave 400 Days for free to people who bought the game from Telltale's store on PC/Mac.

(However, as Michonne is considerably bigger in scale, I can't see them doing so this time around).

  • This must of been a promotional deal , because i repurchased S1 TWD and had to buy the DLC for five dollars.

  • 400 days was not worth 5 dollars. True story.

  • I don't think it will be free but however it is a mini series, it might not cost as much as seasons 1 and 2 do.

  • It's going to be 5 $ each like season 1 and 2 and 400 days

  • Oh right, I should keep up with these things xD

  • Each episodes of every TT game cost 5 dolars which mean that this miniseries will cost 15.

  • Aw man :/ Thanks for the info btw

  • They sayed season pass they give,it should be free for steam.

  • On the official page, it states that to play this you have to at least own "All That Remains". So I'm going to assume this will be accessible through the S2 game.

  • I would assume there will not be a season pass for this, so it would cost $15 plus tax. If there is one, I could not see priced under $8.49 + 4.99 for the 1st episode.

  • Do you have a link

  • I was under the impression it would be free.
"You'll need at least the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two in order to play The Walking Dead: Michonne, but we'll have more info on that for you closer to the premiere date."

  • Just go to the TT home page and click on the Micchonne ad.

  • If it's like 400 Days, it will be DLC. AFAIK, you needed at least the first episode to play 400 Days as well, but it still cost money unless you bought the season pass from the Telltale Store. Michonne is bigger than 400 Days, so I can't imagine it being free.

  • it's whole new content the season pass covered episodes 2-5 you need at least episode 1 because the mini series runs off the season 2 game it will be like 400 days it is its own separate thing
