So, Michonne will finally be making the ... option have more of an impact.

I'm never silent in a telltale game, but this could change things up a bit. Any of you guys use ellipses often?

  • Only when I don't agree with any of the options or I'm trying to be a smartass or asshole.

  • If I feel like none of the choices are "me", as in they're not something I'd say, I go with the "...".

  • The silence will be her starring the person down like so..

I think it's best used when there's just nothing good to say in a given situation, or the rare scenes where staying silent just seems more fitting

One of the best examples for me is when you first arrive at River Street with Kenny. There's just not any words of encouragement or anything positive you can really say there, and with Kenny practically losing the one thing that he's set his mind to, it just feels better to let him deal with that in his own way. The confrontation with the stranger is another good pick. Staying silent when he's telling you his story just feels right to me.

Another example that I just find to be even more sad and impactful is when Katjaa takes Duck into the woods and Kenny stays behind. After the gunshot, you can try to comfort Clementine, but staying silent during that part just feels perfectly poignant for the scene.

I see what you mean. Even when there's nothing good to say, nothing I'd truly say or the scene's too emotional, I still get vocal. Lol. I should stay silent every now and then.

Pretty much her only expression when she isn't trading candies with Coral on railroad tracks. Rofl. Either that or it's a distant deep-thought expression, less pissed off.

  • Maybe Michonne is facing off with an antagonist who gets angry with Michonne's silence. They can say, "What, you have nothing to say?! Speak up!" and Michonne can stay silent lol, like an invisible middle finger to the person basically. XD

  • Very rarely do I use the silence option, except on a few occasions (like when Kenny first has a gun at Arvo during the shootout in No Going Back). So that whole silence thing doesn't mean all that much to me since I barely use it.

  • I used the silent treatment a good bit in Season 2. It just made sense to me, seeing as Clem never seemed that talkative in the first place. It was kind of a "at a loss for words" option that I mainly used when something shocking/bad happened.

It seems like it will be a cool feature for Michonne but I'll be using it for different reasons.

  • Lol. I'm picturing a Carver-esque antagonist getting butthurt from Michonne's middle finger silence.

  • I like the silent options and I tend to use them when the situation fits.
