For the 5% who didn't save Tom...

I didn't save him because I honestly thought Tom was annoying, and what are the Lannisters gonna say when they find out a Forrester killed their guard. It was for the best to leave him eventhough he tried to kill you.

  • Everyone in King's Landing already wants to kill Mira. If they find out, nothing is gonna change.

    I regret nothing.

I didn't save him because I wanted to be a jerk and I didn't care for him.

    No regrets.

  • Killing someone in King's Landing = Death especially since the Forresters were loyal bannerman to House Stark which also hated and planned to take down the Lannisters. (Episode 1 Casterly Rock)

  • I actually really like Tom leaving him wasn't personal I was worried about the consequences of killing a Lannister guard.

  • if you left him does he actually die? or do you see him again later on and hes pissed at you?

  • You see him again in ep3, thought he is pretty pissed. :)

  • He appears in Episode 3 and he's pissed but he also has a scar on his cheek.

  • Lol. I did that on my "jerk playthrough". My primary/canon save, I try to make decisions that I would make in real life. On my secondary save, however, I always try to be the biggest a-hole possible. I do this on every Telltale game. I think I love my jerk playthroughs more than my canon ones. :-)

  • Yeah but I mean, Mira is already in the death row, everyone wants to kill her, if they find out it's gonna be just another family trying to murder her :P

  • He helps you out still but when breaking into Tyrions office he can abandon you if you're really shitty towards him he says something like "No one's worth this much trouble!"

  • Honestly, I just panicked and ran because I thought harming the guard would incriminate me too much. He doesn't even die if you don't save him, he's just a little annoyed.

  • Does he? Huh, that's really cool. I like the inclusion of more subtle, butterfly effect consequences.

Does that also happen if you are really crappy towards him after saving him?

  • makes sense, this game sort of seems to go that way.

Yeah he just leaves you if you're crappy towards him even if you saved him when it happens he names every crappy thing you did to him up until that point leaving him to drown being one of them.

  • I left him. And kept the knife.

I just don't trust Tom. No matter how many times i ask him who he works for, he wont give me a name. He is trying tooo hard to help Mira, what does he get out of the deal? Nothing is free, not advice, not help, not secret plots. I refuse to give him any more leverage over me, or any other info to maybe blackmail me with.

I mean, Tyrion chose to work with Mira over the Whitehills precisely because she works for Margary (the new Queen) and would have acess to her person and secrets. Why couldn't that be Tom's Bosses motivation as well? Just use her to get close to Margary.

  • I agree. Also I didn't like it when he tried pressuring me to burn the royal decree. He shouldn't tell me what to do, and it could save my house.

  • I was initially mixed on my gut choice to have burnt the decree, but once I thought back to what Lord Andros said earlier that episode, I'm glad I did. He made a good point about how it would look very bad for Mira to have a royal decree associated with Tyrion after he was framed for the murder of Joffery.

I personally laughed my ass off when tom didn't die from the drowning I had tears in my eyes
Considering when Mira ran another guard was calling for the other lannister guard and he was being man handled by a grown man a guard ffs hes a coal boy or a faceless warrior
Tom said he "got ahold of a rock" and bashed him repeatedly and didn't know if he died what about the other other guard I was sure he was to join in on poor Lil ol tom being drowned in a bird bath I was so shocked and amazed lol to see him pop out of nowhere I was like wtf ghost of Tom Jones anyways he got his head chopped off in the end

  • Slip it in your new husbands robe and problem solved :P

  • For a moment I thought this was about Episode 6 and was astounded that only 5% of players sold out. :V Ah well. My sister ran in her version, because she felt it would be safer and NOT get in trouble for wasting a guard. Not that that changes anything for Mira in the end.
