Plot ideas for upcoming season

  • I honestly think Tell Tale are gonna throw us a curve ball and we wont get to see Kenny or Jane in the first episode at all, depending on how we ended things. I have a theory which is interesting and will answer some pretty darn glaring questions that the 2nd season left to us, and we will see a return of Christa.
I think this because TTG want to explore a "new angle", and that could well be it. I am gonna think about it some more and organise my thoughts thoroughly before I write it out fully fleshed. Just as a teaser though my theory involves a dream sequence at the start of episode 1 from Clementine, and flash backing to her time with Christa, but instead of playing as Clementine, you play as Christa, shortly after Omid's death.

You can probably all guess what the rest of the episode will contain in this dream sequence, as hopefully TTG will answer a few glaring questions about Christa and Clementine's relationship after Omid's death.

Any opinions on this would be appreciated and maybe TTG will notice this hehe.

  • A four hour long Christa DLC would be good.

So my theory being that we play as Christa in episode 1, I think that TTG is going to mix it up by having us play multiple protagonists across the season, the 1st one being Christa, in a dream that Clementine has right at the beginning of the episode. I envision that as the episode begins we see how we ended things, either walking away with Kenny, alone or Jane, or walking into Wellington. The camera pans in to a room where Clementine is asleep at which there is a white flash and then the screen goes black and all you can hear is the audio from the scene where Omid is shot in the ladies toilet from the beginning of season 2. The screen slowly fades in to you looking down at Omid and Clementine bubbling over by the door of the end cubicle.

Thus begins your journey with Christa and Clementine after Omid has been shot. At this point you get attacked by walkers, as one bursts through the door, bringing up a few options like telling Clementine to run, grab the gun, or hide and the silent option, to which you have to then drop Omid and confront the oncoming walkers.

We all know that telltale dont give you any peace especially right after something awful has happened, so I can guarantee (most likely) that this will have happened, and that the only way Clem and Christa escape is by working together, to get out of the toilets where they are trapped. Thereafter we either have a sequence full of action (like season 2) or we have a puzzle to solve to get out of there (by telling Clementine what she needs to check for) as you hold the door shut.

As an added surprise don't forget Omid has been shot in the chest, and is likely to turn also for that added bit of drama. Just as you have either solved your puzzle (such as escaping through the window at the back of the toilets) or finished taking out all the walkers attacking you, Omid will then arise as a walker, and attack Christa (you). You fight and fight but you have no strength left (remember Lee?) bashing the button to fend off Omid, you can't get him off no matter how hard you bash the buttons then in the background you hear a single shot and Omid's head explode.

The camera then pans up to Clementine in the rear of the toilets, shaking and crying with her gun in her hand. Just as you think its over the girl who stole Clem's gun, then grabs Clem's leg as she was also shot, but not in the head. You gain control of Christa again, and you have to reach for your gun, as Clementine struggles to keep the walker from biting her. Finally putting a round into the walkers head the ordeal is over, you then escape out of the toilets with all your gear, and put some distance between yourselves and the area you have just been in to which we end up at a "hub". Possibly a small hut that you have to clear out and check like the mansion in season 1 episode 4, where you can chat safely with Clementine. It is here that you both break down, Clementine still being upset about having to either leave Lee or shoot him, whichever you chose, and having to kill Omid to save Christa. And Christa (you) tries to come to terms with losing Omid and consoling Clementine too (who is having a full on break down at this point). The choices you make as Christa here will come into play on how Clementine deals with AJ and surviving with him in her care, or at least the dialogue Clementine uses will change based on these choices.

The hub ends and you move on, however you guys don't find another group to tag onto, don't forget Christa was dead set on staying away from groups in season 1, and I got the impression that the group Clementine gets saved from in season 2 is the first group she had contact with since leaving Lee, and throughout the 16 months we had lost.

I have yet to decide what else happens in the episode but giving birth to Christa's baby is definitely in there and how Clementine and Christa lose him or her. In episode 5 of season 2 in the rest stop just before Kenny and Jane fight, Clementine says " not again......not again.....", I do believe that the baby was lost to walkers in some way, and neither Christa nor Clementine could save him/her. In true Tell tale game fashion, no matter how you try to save the baby, it will only allow you to save Clementine, and get away from the situation.

This post is long enough now, what do you guys think so far? Would it be best suited as a DLC episode? Do we need this answered? In my opinion as a player, I would like to know what happened to Clementine and Christa, its not really something we can ignore I don't think, as she was in Christa's care and she ultimately made Clementine the tough little girl we see in season 2 (of course Clementine was tough and smart to begin with, but Christa most definitely added to that.)

  • I think they'll probably just pick it up from the end of season 2.

Hey I got a new Season 3 idea =D Clementine being reintroduced to new characters, horror style.

Just imagine, some new protagonist just chilling walking down a corridor, turns a corner and DRAMATIC BOOM! Clementine's just standing there holding A.J with them both covered in walker guts and she says eeriy. "Come and play with us." and the guy/gal pee's his/her pants with fear and bolts off like a gamer who just suffered a jumpscare playing Five Nights at Freddy's XD

Or! It's one of those things, where the guy/gal turns away to look out at something in the distance and SCARY BOOM! Gut covered Clementine is just standing there with the baby by the treeline, staring over scarily. He/she goes to call out to the group to alert them to the kid, but on looking back:

    Alt text

Poof! She's gone! Like a thief in the night!

Although to be serious, it would be a creepy but cool idea if Clem was spotted spying on a group but keeping her distance because of her not being sure if they're friendly or not, meanwhile you got somebody on the other end of this confused as hell as to "Now did I really see a blood splattered kid holding a baby or is this ZA just getting to me?". Oh oh oh! And then maybe later at night or something, Clem tries to steal some food from them and gets spotted or caught by the same person! Meanwhile gamers are just like "I KNEW IT! CLEMMY!"

    That or having scary stalking malfunctioning robotic rabbits, because those things would keep anybody up at night. ;_;

  • I would use the term 'aloof' to describe Clem's personality in season 2

Having her still be S1 Clem is unrealistic. Personalities tend to change during the apocalypse. She's not really emotionless, she's more reserved.

  • Clem sneaking up on a group is a good idea.

The only drawbacks are if you have to ride uphill or if the chain comes off and you're being surrounded by walkers.

I always assumed that everyone in the Apocalypse should be riding bicycles. They are pretty fast, gas-less, quiet, and low maintenance. I'm

  • I wanted to see a group with: a scientist, a female police officer, a sniper and a infection survivor (pale looks like a zombie but still thinks with the help of the scientist). These are some stupid ideas i gathered but if you give them a bit of story to them they aren't that bad

  • but what about mike and arvo? if there plan is to go south, as mike planed, doesnt that means that you will encounter them in the alone ending and the Howes ending? If so, Clementine is in a great amount of danger in the alone ending, assuming that Arvo still wants to seek vengeance against Clementine.

It would be cool if at the end of episode 5 of season 3,alone ending, you see a pair of binocular peaking out the bushes, music becomes drastic, and the camera pans to the bushes. The man in the bushes emerge and it's Arvo with zombie guts and a Bowie knife.

Clementine surviving with AJ. It could have more choices related to survival. Like choosing which directions to travel and how to get food(fishing or hunting) with it's consequences and bonuses. And also choosing if Clem can join a group or not.

  • I keep on thinking of the show: Bob's Burgers everytime someonw talks about him.

  • Have you seen the Kentucky Fried Bob pic?

I keep on thinking of the show: Bob's Burgers everytime someonw talks about him.

  • Alrighty I accept. My ending: Jane with the family (as I have mentioned in previous posts).

Clementine and Jane bring in Randy and his family. They clear out most of the lurkers and establish Howe's as their home. Clem and Jane scour the surrounding area for supplies while Randy, Patricia and Gill prove their worth by holding down the fort. After many months, all develop a decent routine, but Clem feels it can be more. Randy suggests he and his family can do more (conflict probably). Borrowing some concepts from other posts here, I plan for Clem to have guilt ridden dreams, causing lack of sleep and having a severe case of survivors guilt. The others try to help out, but it's not easy, not with what (your) Clementine has been through.

Recurring characters (yes, I'm allowing it): Christa is shown to be alive and well and has been partnered with a severely depressed Lilly.
Mike and Bonnie return to Howe's after their food supply has run dry. Maybe, have Mike bringing a severely weakened Bonnie (hint at possible ship).

A few new characters introduced. Lilly redemption arc (MAKE IT SO)

When the surrounding city Howe's is in is devoid of supplies, a fellow survivors knows of an unspoiled town. There, Clementine will be separated by a herd, meeting another small band of survivors, those with similar survivors guilt depression.

Also, I love the concept of treasure hunts. One of the survivors heard of a massive horde of supplies known only by a few dubbed "Quivira", but a rare handful of maps reveal it's location somewhere in Virginia. Only half a map is in the individuals possession, and upon another from a lurker, Clementine will gain access to a treasure hoard that can turn things around.

But there will be complications such as a new formed Save-Lots bandit group whom got their eye on Howe's. Clementine must unite the survivors she's come to know and make a stand. A battle will take place, and there will be loses on both sides (try to stay true to WD). Also, a severe storm will take place, maybe even a flash flood.

I also wish for Clem's story to continue but for this season to have an emotionally satisfying ending, not to dark, not to light. The theme will be recovery.

One last spoiler for the ending: Clementine and her group turn Howe's into a trading post, distributing the wealth of "Quivira" and through a portable radio make contact with other settlements, including Wellington.

At last, Clem's dream at starting something a Howe's will become a reality.

This is all a work in progress, hope to be six episodes long.

I know a brilliant safety measure to get around this. The writers for Season 3 all get fitted with shock collars, and anytime there's so much as a whisper between them about killing off a character, we just press a button and give them a widdle shock, problem solved >.> <.<

I'd like S3 to have good writing, idc where the story goes

  • edited July 2015

I want Season 3 to start off right where Lilly was either abandoned at the side of the road, or where she takes off in the RV. Either way, have there be a cut scene showing Lilly traveling, like they did with the Governor in the TV series, then take over as her wherever she stops. There's plenty of story to tell: Does she lead another group, or become a member? How does she handle her grieving and choices? Let time pass, so Clementine can get a little older, and whichever multiple choice ending people chose can have no real weight, even though that would be upsetting. But I imagine it would be tough to make it to where we immediately continue playing as Clementine without upsetting many people if their decisions weren't put into the new season.

They could end Season 3 with Lilly meeting Clementine on the road, at Wellington, or at the store. We could even play as Christa in Season 4, to find out where she's been, too, and that also could pass time to age Clementine a bit more for Season 5, where she could be the main playable character again.

  • Maybe one, at most two, I think any more than that would be unrealistic. Maybe Christa and Molly.

    My theory about Season 3:
    with Kenny:
After two years, 12-year-old Clementine, AJ two years old. Two small children live with Kenny who adopted them. They live in a wooden hut, they found. The relationship between cane growing very Clementine, he loved her like his own daughter. AJ is the younger brother of Clementine.
One day, Kenny asks Clementine keep AJ, he goes in search of food. Finally, AJ gets into the mysterious people who kidnap it. Clementine was unable to save him, Kenny returns home very angry about Clementine. They're on a quest to find the AJ and save him. On the way, they ask people attach to people, who are against this group that abducted the AJ.
Way to save AJ, they meet familiar characters: Like Christa, Molly and Lily. During the season, Kenny dies and Clementine have to save the AJ alone.
    with Jane:
After two years, 12-year-old Clementine and AJ two years old. For Jane, both of whom are her brothers and Clementine Jane helps treat AJ. They live in Carver's headquarters, along with the family are invited. (Two and African American boy named Gill 14 years old) boy in love with Clementine, (which is really cute), but Clementine does not want it XD Anyway, it goes the same and AJ kidnapped.
Jane died (as Kenny) and this is a journey rescue again. Along with strangers and familiar characters. Will you be able Clementine save her little brother?
    What do you think?
