You're right, this is outrageous. We should be objectifying the male characters as well.

    Here's one for the ladies:

    Hot. :P

Oh man... Well done sir, I needed a good laugh!

I like to think of this topic as more of a tribute to Telltale's animators and modelers, as opposed to... Erm... What it actually is.

I'd like to think of it as the "thread for people with a lot of time on there hands."

It took quite a bit of time to remove the textboxes from the 3rd picture (the crossed swords) -- this close-up can be seen when there is a dialog tree, which I had to cover up. Quite pleased with the result though.

Unrelated but related. Maybe we should ask pixeloo (http://pixeloo.blogspot.com) to de-toon some (or all) MI characters.

As to the whole Morgan is Elaine's sister theory:

Guybrush mentions that Elaine has a REALLY good looking sister in LCR... Morgan anyone?
  • edited October 2009
Ok, Maybe it's me, but I like the "Uuuugh!" noise she makes when you (Guybrush) don't "Shut-up about the mast!"

Kinda lewd sounding but funny. I couldn't stop laughing when I first heard it.
Yes, yes. I know - I'm easily amused.

I used to be on board with the sister theory, but have given up on it now. Guybrush actually mentioned the name "Morgan LeFlay" to Elaine in Spinner Cay - if they were sisters, Elaine surely would have said something at that point. Unless Morgan LeFlay is a pseudonym...

I work with a girl who looks and sounds young, pretty short too. She's in her early thirties, divorced and a mum, but thats besides the point. (A classic case of the book not matching the cover.)

I saw a mini docu on the voice artist ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5Z0R3c9Klg ) and there she said she usually do voices of little girls.

    She can sing, too!

    (imagine Guybrush and Morgan singing?)

Anyone know if there is a larger version of this concept art? I really am hoping for an official art book with or on the season's DVD.

That's still awesome though. Anyone here got a monitor that rotates 90 degrees? Mine has it so the screen is either tall or wide. If they had more "tall" wallpapers, that'd be cool! :^)

    I'm still lookin' at them...

Thanks botha y'all (ATMachine & Barchetta)! I think I got my wallpaper for Nov. now! :^)

Maybe she's planning to fight with the sword in that hand? You only need the pauldron on the side you expose to your opponent. Of course, you'd need both if you were planning to pull the "I'm not left handed, either" trick.
