I for one am replaying S1 and S2. When Michonne comes out I'm gonna play that also I think. My only question is will your decisions you make in the Michonne mini series carry over to S3 and interact with S3 like the 400 days in S1 did for S2?

Pretty sure yes!
During an E3 Discussion with Greg Miller, Job Stauffer implied that Season 3 will be "a long ways off" and "considerably… more larger" than previous games. They currently are trying to figure out who the protagonist is, and how the story will tie into Season 2 and the Michonne Mini series. He implies to expect news about Michonne in the next 2-3 weeks, and at PAX. Meanwhile, fans can perhaps expect Season 3 news "of substance" after the end of the Michonne mini-series.
Unfortunately, TWD Season 1 didn't transfer with the new xbox 360 my brother obtained, so I can't play it. But I will be glad to watch youtube videos :P want it to come sooner!
It was confirmed in the blog post that you need season 2 unless they decided to change it since the first announcement.
You can expect to see the premiere this fall on PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and compatible iOS and Android-based devices. You'll need at least the first episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two in order to play The Walking Dead: Michonne, but we'll have more info on that for you closer to the premiere date.
I dunno, have they already confirmed that it requires the first episode of Season 2?
Because I asked him if it would be DLC or it's own standalone game and he said they weren't quite ready to say yet.

A DLC is usually a small addition to a game. 400 days was a DLC cause it was a bridge between S1 and S2. TT doesn't wanna call it a DLC since it's a mini-series and it's not related to S2 at all.
However, I don't see why people should buy S2 in order to buy the Michonne series. If they don't wanna call it a DLC then they shouldn't be treating it as such
the Michonne mini-series will premiere late this year
Much hype ^-^ giggles with excitement
I hope telltale do michonne justice, she is one of my favourite characters from the genre I have a feeling this is going to be really emotional and I'm just so excited! >_<
Like in season 1 we had a special episode 400 days which connected the story in season 2. Same way we might have these michone mini series which might connect to season 3.
Is there a lot that goes on in the comic with Michonne, after she gets back from sea? I know about one of the major character deaths, but are there other things too?
But on a serious note, I have no idea since I haven't watched the show or read the comics, and I wish they had done something else instead of Michonne.

Doesn't Daryl have his own game?
Daryl isn't a comic character; Telltale's Walking Dead games take place in the comic universe.
Daryl in 'TWD. Survival Instinct'
Unfortunately, yes he does, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
he has but not has good as a telltale game , unfortunately
that's too bad though , an awesome character he is.
i cant call that a good game.
It was a good concept and if they actually put time and effort into it, it would have been a good game.

Hmmm.... Maybe an announcement sometime around Halloween? Be the perfect time you think?
I'd say we'll definitely get news in either October or November.
I think November.
October - place for 'TFTB' and 'GoT' finales and also 'Minecraft: SM' Episode 1
I guess it won't be released as DLC as we previously assumed?
the term DLC for Michonne was thrown out the window as soon as they said mini series back in June :P
What's the difference whether it's called DLC or not?
Technically it is a DLC as it requires the first episode of season 2 to work but as the story is totally separate they are calling it a mini series.
even tho i'm quite dissapointed about the announcement i'll give it a try to play it..

Who cares if you're disappointed, other people will enjoy it.
Voicing of opinion. Let her say what she wants to say. She said she's going to try it anyways.
yup ! ^~^ i'm glad you get my opinion.. hahaha

Job Stauffer just tweeted this:
Sounds great.
I finished Life and Death. so I'm all caught up with the Michonne stuff.
I can't wait! Michonne is my favourite character in The Walking Dead!
Wow Telltale really loves live let's plays.
She's my favorite in comics!

Thread: so when can we expect this Michonne BS then
Anyone got any info?
Idk, I think we can expect some walkers.
But on a serious note, I have no idea since I haven't watched the show or read the comics, and I wish they had done something else instead of Michonne.
It's certainly not the same actress on AMC. Showcase maybe? think I've cracked Job's code. Feeling like a genius
