If the third season was actually about telling Lee how to prevent bad shit, I'd enjoy it. HIM WHOOPING CARVER and dealing with the RUSSIANS. Better than my one armed Lee. ;3;
So because other stuff you've seen where someone has been said to have been dead, turns out to be alive, then a guy, who is in a series wher… moree once you're bit you're pretty much screwed, must be alive. Okay......To be honest I'd've preferred that. Season 2 was a dream by Clem and series 3 still has everyone together except Omid and Christa, and the player has to prevent Clem growing up to be how she was in Season 2. (BLAND!)
not really, duke nukem was always stupid, sexist and gratuitous, people somehow forgot that and expected a modern classic, that lead to disa… moreppointment, however half life one and two were consistently high quality in production and storytelling, HL3 would only be a disappointment if they totally dropped the ball, and i don't see why they would
Even if she did miss, wouldn't she just shoot again? Unless the ammo for that gun was really that scarce, it doesn't make any logical sense that she'd miss the shot and then just leave Lee to turn.
Bringing Lee back to life wouldn't make any sense from a storytelling standpoint and would only serve as a giant middle finger to the ending of Season 1.
well if you hear about what happened with the development for duke nukem it was basically always gonna suck, but my point is that we (gamers) have moved on from games like duke nukem, it is like the mullet (haircut)
however half life did mature in HL2, and it was always more serious and aimed for high quality, it is a more timeless approach, like the buzz cut.
they are just totally different games and approaches to making games that saying duke nukem sucked so so will HL3 is like saying humans can live to 100 years so so can a hamster.
I know Lee is dead and I wouldn't have it any other way, plus I know she didn't miss. The reason I made the joke is I remember people stating, quite adamantly, that the shot 'sounded off' and that Clem missed. A case of denial, I reckon, or trying to invent a way for him to live. (Tempting to try and find the thread.)
Of course, I skim read the original post and didn't notice that the shot was mentioned. If I hadn't skim read and noticed it, I wouldn't have made said joke. But uh, I hope people can't blame me for skim reading the original post here. Anyhow, Lee's gone and not coming back.

That door where he got bit and infected by a zombie, then shot in the head is smaller than you think. I'm confused how being shot in the head or bitten by a zombie, and or dying from bloodloss is considered leaving the door wide open for his return when he's confirmed dead.
No one confirmed Kenny was dead in season 1. Everyone confirmed Lee was.

um, ya, ok.
Do you know how long people waited for that? 17 Years.
I think some people are just too bonded with Lee so they just really can't accept that
But Lee is dead. He's gone. It's done.
There's nothing that can bring him back.
and in those years the people that played the original got wiser and more mature, but the game didn't
Don't tell me what to do. #LeesLifeMatters
I'm not disputing Duke Nukem was bad, i'm only saying a game stuck in a 17 year year development is destined for failure.

It was a joke.

I'm with you brother #LeesLifeMatters
I would love for him to come back, they definitely left the door wide open for a reason, I think we will see a return.

It can't be any worse than Season 2 .
Famous last words.
You didn't like season 2? No big deal wasn't on the forums during season 2 so not sure what the general opinion of it was.
