I was neutral on her before the fire tower -- I thought she was just a little bossy but you know, no reason to tell her to go die like some people do. That's plain horrible imo.
But when she fell into the mines she managed to steal a spot in my top 3 for sure. So badass.
I don't like Emily but there are two things I like about her:
1) I can't lie, she was pretty smart and badass after she fell from that fire tower. Before that she was just annoying.
2) "Understand the palm of my had bitch!" xD

You got it, it's psychonauts, if you haven't played it I one hundred percent recommend you get it, I have like a 7 year old physical copy. The graphics still hold up in my eyes, it's just one of those old gems. If Schafer doesn't remaster it I'll cry.

My friend and I agreed to kill her as soon as possible but then we started to like her more and more. She's still not my favorite character but not the worst either. (please note that we are talking about fictional character, I wouldn't want to kill her in real life xD)
I like Sam because she's nice and not-insane like some others. But my problem with her is that she's almost too perfect. Every great character should have some flaws too.
