We don't even know if some kind of spiritual afterlife exists in TWD, and given how much its grounded towards realism I'd say Dead is Dead.
Everyone seems to be putting this down...but it could very well be the case. Of course I'm not saying that AJ is Lee, but in terms of the game and 'storytelling', he could very well be the spiritual reincarnation of Lee. This isn't real, remember that guys. I think it would be a very good plot point. Maybe it doesn't have to be 'they do the same stuff' or 'look the same'...but even just little things, like Clementine seeing bits of Lee in AJ as he grows up. It doesn't have to be a full on, "Guys. AJ is the reincarnation of Lee. We are making sure everyone knows it." Just little hints, or reminders of him, in personality or certain traits. It'd keep things interesting also. Lee being Clementine's guide and protector, and now the roles are reversed, and Clementine is the guardian angel as such. I think it's a cool idea in theory, keep in mind i'm not saying it is definitely what is happening...I just like the idea. SPOILERS FOR UP TO SEASON 3 OF THE SHOW
Kind of like Judith being an almost 'rebirth' of Lori in the show...although Lee is not AJ's biological parent.
