Let's take a moment to recognize how ungrateful that dog was in Season 2
Think about it... you're a dog who lost its human family and ya chill around their camp site knowing damn well they're all dead and you're gonna die if you dont go looking for food for yourself. You miss them a lot and the only reason you're sticking around that area is because you hope you can live in a nice happy family again. You know, everyone thinks you're cute, you get fed free food just cuz, your body gets rubbed so nicely... YOU WANT THAT LIFE BACK MAN! Then out of no where a young little girl stumbles upon you, and she looks alot like the kids you got along with in the old days. She pets you, plays Frisbee with you, think's you're cute, and feeds you food from her meal even though she's starving herself. This must be a gift sent from God... one would think this would be a companionship that could last a lifetime. BUT NO! LETS CHEW THE GIRL's ARM OFF BECAUSE SHE DIDNT GIVE ME ENOUGH BEANS! YEAH IM A DOG AND I DONT EVEN LIKE BEANS AND YEAH I KNOW I WOULDNT HAVE BEEN GIVEN ANYTHING TO EAT IF WASNT FOR HER, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT... F*** HER ARM!

Fucking this dog. He wanted to eat Clementine! Because she was a little girl, she did not know feeding a hungry dog closely, by hand, it is dangerous. She was so nice to him ... I wanted to cry when he attacked her! She herself was starving. This dog is no longer seen as a little girl Clementine, a piece of chicken. The dog wanted to eat Clementine neck! I'm nervous, aggressive dog like that ... dare try to eat a 11 year old girl!
The Dog was starving and she took the food away from it, what did you expect it to do?
It's not all Sam's fault as it's instinctive behaviour, Sam had been starving and feral for a unknown amount of time and when Clementine dropped the beans the dog claimed them for himself and when Clementine took them away from him he saw it as she was stealing what was his and attacked.
The actual term is called "food aggression" and wouldn't be uncommon in a starving dog.
The dog was acting on instinct. It was starving and it saw Clementine as someone impeding it from proper nourishment.
It was a pretty messed up situation, but I don't think either Clem or the dog are at fault here.
I feel no sympathy for that dog, everyone always seems to get upset about it. That said clementine should have been taught to not approach feral animals
A smart person would know not to take food from a dog that was basically wild.
Are we really judging and condemning a stray dog as if it was a human being? Animals have no concept of morals or politics, so why be angry at an animal who does not have the brain capacity to understand what's right and wrong?
I love that new pic of yours Pinky
Its a starving dog, what did you expect it to do? Give clem a hug?
FUCK THIS DOG
she is just 11 ...
The dog tried to eat Clementine
The dog tried to eat Clementine
Sam wasn't trying to eat Clementine, he was attacking her because he thought she was going to take what he claimed to be his.
The first part of this video shows a real world example of a dog exhibiting food aggression and attacking a fake hand in a similar way to how Sam attacked Clementine.

Relax mate.
Guys i wasnt being serious when i posted this thread lol, i've always sorta been a cat guy.
@OzzyUK, i do recall %99.9 of people i tried taking food from acting the same way as that dog in that video so yeah i can see how the dog's not to blame lol
I think the immoral savagery of nature can be justly called "evil" in itself, and Sam had been distorted into an evil creature by hunger and a feral lifestyle. Evil creatures have to be killed.
It never tried to eat her. It attacked her...
'A piece of chicken'
Are you sure that you fully understand what you're talking about? The dog is an animal. It doesn't matter to him whether Clem is a little girl or not, I'm not sure he even understands the concept of being a little girl - she is someone, who tries to take the food from him, he is hungry and strong enough to fight her for that food - for a dog it's a good enough reason to attack, there is nothing wrong with that.
She should still know that the dog would try to defend what was its food as far as it was concerned. Her age is not an excuse, take away food from any starving animal is a bad idea. A sane person that grew up in a normal enviroment (like Clem) should know that.
