  • Someone in the comments pointed out that she was bit. If you look at her wrist when she's putting the bag up in the overhead compartment, you can see what looks like bite marks on her wrist. Granted it's not clear, but definitely something to consider.

I didn't catch that. I'll have to go back and watch again.

Edit: She definitely has something on her wrist. Can't tell if its a bite or some kind of tattoo.

  • Oh yeah thats another thing, the Alicia X Chris thing is just gonna cause weird awkward things in later seasons

Strand's boat has a name to: Abigail. To be honest I would rather want a spin-off with Strand, Nick, and Chris in a boat following Kenny's Guide to Boat Survival. Maybe throw in Alicia for my boy Chris.

  • Strabigail totally works. I ship it, eh?

As for Chris and Alicia, I hope Chris goes in but pulls out, but a reminder of his visit appears. You get me dog?

Strabigail and Chralicia, those are our new ships.

  • It's kind of already weird. Same 'father' I guess. Hopefully it's not like Lydia and **** (comic spoiler).

  • Yeah, I can already tell its gonna be all like "The world ended it doesnt matter! Stuff like that, its just weird because they are step-siblings, although I cant remember if Travis is actually married, either way, its just gonna cause weird scenes

I was super reminded of escaping Howe's with them breaking into the compound using a herd

It's like a reverse version of the Howe's escape plan

It was a brilliant episode. Sucks that it took so long to see that many walkers or should I say "infected". Kind of makes me think of how GoT used pretty much the entire budget on Hardhome.

I was worried about Travis because he wasn't showing any signs that he could run the show but when he went full out Rick on Andy all doubts were gone just like his face. I'm happy with Travis's season arc. Salazar is awesome. He's going to be the Shane of the group when it comes to killing someone who they don't know if they can trust or not.

Madison is an interesting character. There is something dark about her that we have yet to learn. She has probably killed before and we don't know who or why yet. Her husbands death being brought up a lot makes me wonder if she killed him

The only real problem I have is that the walkers are SLOW as hell. Aren't they supposed to get all riled up when being shot at or when one of them is stabbed in the head? In the episode "Them" (ep 10 season 5) the walkers are slowly approaching them as they push them off the cliff but then when Sasha stabs one they start going nuts.

  • Liza made me cry, Travis evolved, and Strand, oh man he is so freakin awesome, second season is gonna be really interesting.

I wonder if I'm the only person who cried when Liza died.... Like literally I fucking bowled my eyes out... This is the first time I've ever cried to The Walking Dead TV show. They lost the person with the most useful skills. #RIPLiza

I called it last week along with a lot of other people that Daniel would open those locked-up walkers, and it was pretty funny and badass "You should save your ammunition." This episode had some excellent solemn moments and it was a really good episode.

  • I'm more excited for Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 than The Walking Dead Season 6......I hope to god Season 2 isn't going to be shitty.

    My favorite characters are:

    1. Strand
    2. Chris
    3. Nick

I think that's pretty cool how we both have the same top 3 favorite characters in FearTWD. I don't know why Chris is so hated. I love his character.

  • Why did they leave the doctor behind? Cause she was a "lost cause"? Da fuck. Give her a damn minute, bad stuff was happening.

  • Yeah seriously. Not to mention it would've been so useful to have another person with medical expertise with them, especially after Liza was bitten. These characters have a tendency to leave a lot of people behind, and it's gonna bite them in the ass.

  • So we finally have a decent boat plan. Though I have to wonder, why is the ship "Abigail" already way out at sea? Are there people steering her already on that ship? Also if they plan on steering that boat to several different locations (and I'd love to see brand new locations--maybe they'll take the show out of the US finally?) they'll need a whole lot of fuel to do that. So hopefully they don't just ignore that detail.

She pretty much gave up, in all honesty

She just euthanized 20 living patients. Even if you're technically sparing them from a worse fate, I don't think that does much good for a person's conscience/sanity

She had the captive bolt right next to her anyways, she was already planning to kill herself

Overall, it's just a tough situation to be in.

  • I didn't really feel anything. I'm surprised how many people took her death so hard.

  • Honestly, Fear the Walking Dead tops Season 1 and 2 of The original show by a long run for me. The writing is so well done, the characters feel real, and I love the shit outta Nick. The finale was no different. The past 5 episodes perfectly weened us into the apocalypse, excellent pacing, amazing development, and the scene where the Dad guy, the hispanic one, can't remember his name, Opened the doors and flooded the walkers into the compound. The episode was genius, and the Season as a whole was a masterpiece. I think I love Fear more than the original show itself. Can't wait for Season 2, and I'm fucking PUMPED for Season 6 of TWD!

Also, what was all that Red gross mushy shit in the water? Is that what caused the outbreak? Because we never got an answer for the red stuff, or what started it all.

  • No. You weren't. I fucking bawled.

  • Also man the main characters are all d*cks lol not warning those people that they were letting the zombies out.

True... It was still fucking cool though. Also, you lost the money on Travis. XD

I got money saying Travis dies. Also man the main characters are all d*cks lol not warning those people that they were letting the zombies out.

  • Yeah, I was already screaming about it, I didn't think she made it.

Andrew went to the "Stormtrooper school of aiming at things" apparently.

Same here. I immediately thought that. Guess Andy has crappy aim like all the army guys lol.

  • Do they? Hmm... Jenner, Hershel's wife, Miller, Hershel, Dawn, Pete, holy fucking shit you're right. So the doctors are way less safe than the black people in that show.

Ahh f*** Liza. I mean I kind of saw it coming, but still. Now for season 2 where Chris will blame Madison and Travis for killing his mom. Se

  • The scene with the herd at the beginning is so dumb...like, were those guards (and everyone in the proximity of half a mile for that matter) blind and deaf? Convenient plot walkers are convenient.

I kind of like this show, but it has lost a lot of its charm in my eyes. We're back to the hopeless thing, and walkers are once more only a threat in numbers.

I dunno, good Episode altogether, but I expected more. Also, am I the only one who doesn't like Strand? Sure, he seems badass and has the right idea about survival, even if it's hard (leave everyone else behind to not slow them down), but I feel like he'll cheat on the group as soon as he sees a profit in it for him.

  • Lol thanks. xp

it's gonna bite them in the ass. Nice pun man.

  • I don't think Madison had that dark of a past. Her actress explained after she's had to be tough for a while since she's a single mom, lost her husband and works a full time job she had to be tough.

    It's seaweed, like this:

    or this.

I think it was a clever little illusion they did, because when I first saw it I thought it was blood or something like corpses floating in the water, but obviously that's not what it was. I think the ominous imagery is supposed to foreshadow to us that obviously not everything will be well in Season 2; there will still be some rough stuff that the group will go have to go through, and blood will probably be shed, even at sea.

  • I agree with all of this. The Army was pretty dumb and strand is gonna dump the group the moment he feels he'll be better off without them.

The scene with the herd at the beginning is so dumb...like, were those guards (and everyone in the proximity of half a mile for that matter)

  • I dont really like that they killed of liza, the dynamic was actually quite interesting and now all of that is gone to just a normal family unit.

Also I'm assuming we are supposed to root for the majority of these characters in the group but they really are all horrible people, every death in the finale was their fault.

Madison, Alicia, Ophelia are all fairly boring

Travis too though now hes all over the place

Daniel is just psychotic, I liked shane, carol and rick but hes just governor level and its only a few days in

    Chris is a whiny pain

Nick and strand are okay but I dont really like either of them

My main gripe is that for an origin story of the disaster they skipped most of it

  • Yeah, I don't really understand Strand.

The scene with the herd at the beginning is so dumb...like, were those guards (and everyone in the proximity of half a mile for that matter)

  • It's more then that. Kim Dickens would not reveal a huge spoiler in an interview on Talking Dead. Dave Erickson mentions her dark past so many times in his interviews that it's going to be a BIG thing when it's finally revealed in Season 2 and it will be something she's done, not something that's happened to her.

I agree, it's probably not going to be that she's murdered her husband though :p That was sort of like a "how crazy would that be?" theory.

  • That's all well and good that they talked about it in the interviews, but I've never seen any real indication that she had a "dark past" in the actual show?

I really liked it. Was honestly expecting half the cast to wind up dead by the end. The scene with Travis beating up Andrew reminded me a lot of Lee beating up Andrew St. John.

  • Maybe... But if it's seaweed, why was there so much so close to the surface, but not on the surface, and why was it all only grouped in one place?

  • i can't say i want any of these character to live(minus Tobias, he is my favorite), after Daniel released those walkers not only those soldiers died but also the sick and wounded were abandoned.
in the end, the lost was greater, not only grizelda was already dead but those same walkers bit liza.
i cant describe these characters as "heroes", not even anti-heroes, for me they are almost villains.

  • Don't you mean you don't understrand him?

That would be interesting. What if, instead of these people acting as "heroes" or the "protagonists" of coming seasons (like Rick and his group have been for the most part), they become villains instead? And it turns out this whole spin-off series is a villain-origin story? I think that'd be a great twist.
