Why not everyone should get killed off

You know a lot of fans are devoted to certain characters like Kenny, Luke, Jane ect... Telltale should keep their fingers on the pulse of who people love and look for the chances of spin off's to their current Clementine based game. I think there have been several characters that could have left the group in some way other than dying, and had their own game. Kenny could have had an episode before returning in season 2 for example. Instead of really ticking people off with some of the deaths, find a way to make money off of it. You get people emotionally involved, and then destroy money making potential.

    Yeah, that was one of my problems with TWD. With Season 1, it was understandable that Lee died saving Clem because it was his character arc. In Season 2, Luke is killed off for no viable reason and Kenny/Jane are both made determinant which we know is a death sentence. Also, the supporting cast (Cabin Group) overall wasn't treated very well.

    Yes Tellltale, Clem is very popular, but I don't think her alone is good enough. You need a whole cast of characters to relate to, and no AJ doesn't count.

  • Agreeing with everything you said.

  • I don't think there should be a good reason to kill someone off, but they definitely shouldn't kill most of the characters off.

  • Agreed. Now TT is trying to figure out who the S3 protagonist should be, and I sit here and think if they hadn't killed nearly everyone in S2 this wouldn't even be an issue — or as big of an issue.

    Imo, I think Luke would have made a great playable character. And I will forever be so fucking bitter about it. x'D

  • They should definitely kill characters off but we need to be attached to them first.

    Telltale: Yesh, Season 3 will have a new angle, and it's going to be much larger than the other seasons. Also the Michonne Mini series is coming along fabulously!

    Interviewer: Excellent! So characters for Season 3, any ideas who the protagonist will be?

    Ugh, I'd of thrown my money at that game and my kidney. Still would've been disappointed by stuff, but KIDNEY!

    Sigh...feeling bitterly bitter again ;_;

  • PFT. You've never not made me laugh with your jokes. /Claps. But omg. A whole kidney? Telltale really missed out on all the organs it could've collected.

  • Somehow, I like the fact they kill off everybody, but I wish at least 8 people survived. When you kill off everybody from one season, all your choices really do not matter. For the first season, I like how they handled it, but in s2 everybody got killed off and there is no pay off
