i like to point something ou with those flashbacks. why didnt they just kill those walkers where glenn and heath and that other dude have to… more eventually kill them? i mean the whole crew was there why not just do it there and make shit easier and not worry about it if 3 people fuck it up with a heard coming. i mean reallywhat was the point?? i know it was to make go "oh we can trust this piece of shit", but it was like why wait? stupid in my opinion. if anyone would like to correct me or explain to me why they didnt just do that then and there.
I love the premiere. It wasn't perfect, but it was solid and fun.
I actually like the odd friendship or relationship that has been built between Gleen and Nicholas. It is strange, but I like that Nicholas actually vouched for Gleen when Heath show doubt. I am interested to see how it is going to play out this season. The driving force behind the premiere, about luring the herd in another direction, it was quite exciting. The black and white flashback scenes, they were interesting enough, but they can be rather distracting when you switch color every scene. Part of me wished that they didn't kill off Carter. I know that people has to die, but it feels like a waste to get to know the character, get a little development with him and Rick and then gets killed off. Feels like a waste there, like his character was simply a tool to cause conflict and then die.
I SHIP MORGAN AND CAROL SO HARD!! Omg I predicted that they would hoepfully end up together in the show compared to what happens in the comics, and I hope they end up together.
Also, It looks like they'll get the Walker horde part out of the way in the first half of the season, so the Negan appearance may come as hoped (last episode). Can't wait to see Dwight and his family, can't wait to see Morgan and his past. I can't wait for next week!

Honestly, the greatest episode since "Try". (And I know that's not saying much considering Try was the 15th episode of Season 5) The story was so perfectly set up, The episode had plenty of fan service, the Cinematography was fantastic, the score was amazing, the characters have developed quite nicely, and that fucking ending made my night. Season 6's first episode tops all of Fear The Walking Dead's first season for me. If it hadn't been for AHS: Hotel's first episode, The season finale of TMNT, and the New episode Steven Universe, The season Premiere of The Walking Dead would have been the best episode of anything I had seen all week. And between AHS: Hotel, RWBY Season 3, TMNT Season 4, and ESPECIALLY TWD Season 6, something tells me the rest of this year is gonna kick ass.
I rate the episode 8/10. The story was hard to follow at some points, and most of the episode had some disappointing factors, But the cute stuff, the close attention to continuity, the music/cinematography, and the acting made it all fantastic.
Id honestly wish for that rather then rushing Negan out, but they can potentially finish the wolves by the mid-point of the season. And since they usually end on bad notes, I could see Negan making his one and only appearance in the season 6 finale to destroy all our hearts, rather then Jesus glancing from a distance and bringing back hope like season 1s finale
And I hope that Carol dies instead of it being Morgan, like the comics. She finally gets close to Morgan, has an epiphany, and then dies to make way for Morgan in Ricks group.
'Filler' episodes are generally my favourites. They're the ones you sit back and think about in, I find myself more involved in 'filler' episodes then the big mid-season/season finales or other episodes where a lot happens. All opinion though.
You need to think about the Terminus people. We all thought the hunters would appear in more scenes then just the three or four they were in.
JSS is the second episodes name. I know that the sneak peek shows Enid use the acronym but it could mean a couple different things. A) somebody that Enid knew and she watched die. "Just Stay Still" - The Wolves. Also take notice that they haven't released a synopsis or the episode name for 6x03. I'll take a guess at this. Ep3 is called "No Way Out". There will be a time jump after episode 4 i think after they've killed the walkers. Im not sure what'll happen between ep5 and ep8 but I think that the hilltop will be introduced around episode 12 (sort of like Alexandria last year) and the finale will be Issue 100. I would also say that Glenn won't be the one to bite the dust. It might be Maggie as it would definitely be a shocker. I don't think that this is rushing it at all. A comic has the luxury of taking longer to do things and what not. I mean if they waited until season 7 finale the introduce Negan then there would be no REAL THREAT for a long time.
Rick: ALRIGHT WE'RE GOING TO HAVE THIS BIG DRAMATIC OPENING WITH A MASSIVE HERD OF WALKERS AND A COUPLE OF SCARED ROOKIES! AND WE'RE NOT GOI… moreNG TO BE DISCREET ABOUT ANY OF THIS! IS EVERYBODY READY!?
Michonne: I hate to break this up, but how about before blasting flares, we use my fancy cow catcher trick, or cover guts on ourselves, or perhaps get some cloaks and cover walker guts on those instead? That way we can keep pulling off plans like these without putting any one of us in mortal dan-
Rick: NO WE DO IT LIVE! BIG AND LOUD! OUR RATINGS WILL GO THROUGH THE ROOOOOOF!
Michonne: Rick-
Rick: DO IT! JUST DO IT!
Michonne: ಠ_ಠ
I have a mixed response to this episode There's some really good moments like the whole trust thing with Glenn and that guy that tried to kill him, who now wants to make things right, and a lot of nice character moments as well...but it's the opening scene and the whole plan for them to draw the walkers… [view original content]
Earlier this month, The Walking Dead issued a casting notice for the role of “Orin,” an imposing, charismatic, brutal, frightening, ferocious and hilarious sociopath in his 30s to mid 40s that is both a leader (and killer) of men. The character would first appear in Season 6’s 16th episode (AKA the finale) and be back (likely as a series regular) for subsequent seasons.
Oh my god.... Scott did that REAL subtly. If you spell "Subtly", like this:
Season finale isn't the right time for Glenn's death, Especially if he's a series regular, So how else would they open Negan's legendary character? With a legendary death. Rest in Peace, Daryl, you will not be missed by me.

why do you want her character to die?? lol she BY FAR the best character in the show. and has BY FAR outlive her comicbook character. i mean i guess thats why but carol is so awesome. i just hope they dont fuck her up this season trying to play her too much of a badass. last season was just grea how she was portrayed.
I definitely think that the wolves won't die in the first 4 episodes, I'll give them 6 maybe, but they aren't going to be as important as hilltop and the saviors. I also think there's a better chance of the wolves coming back after the arrival of Jesus.
But for the Carol thing, I just think compared to everyone else she has the least to live for. She's completed most her purpose for the show in my opinion and out of all the characters to die at "No Way Out" her (or the Priest) are the ones I think are most likely to fall.

Carol and Morgan are perfect. I feel like Carol has almost given up, and Morgan can do for her what that one person did for him. And she can die like T-Dogg did

I also didn't understand the "We'll get them on our way back tonight"

Overall, a great starter.
I shat myself when Morgan said "No way out"
Whaatt? Are these comics connected to the TV series like to the game? I don't understand why do the comic characters appear in the TV series?
Hmm? Do you read the comics? The tv show is BASED ON the comic series. It's the same story with the comics but with a few differences.
Yeah, glad I'm not the only person who noticed that.

No I've never read them, it's very confusing to me
I feel like Jesus looking through the binoculars will be the end of the season.
And yeah Carol with anyone like in the comics - not good.
You're supposed to have met Lucille already, Glenn.
Comic Morgan dies in the volume No Way Out... uh oh. foreshadowing intensifies
"I'm gonna take point" -Carter
Welp he's dead....
Its just a ifferent way to tell the story the comics were. There's no need to be confused.
I ship Morgan and Carol too, holy shit.

This was one of my favorite lines in the episode. My favorite being Rick's schooling on how the group plotting to kill him should have done it. XD
My reaction was, "OH MY GOD IT'S HEEEEEEEEAAAATH!"
I think I might be the only TWD fan who enjoys filler.
Awesome episode. Really liked it. Totally geared up for the season.

I suppose that, due to the plan not being scheduled for that day, Rick & co. Had little time to think things more thoroughly.
The Black and White was very annoying.
