With TWD's current writing team just expect several characters who were built to amount to something later (400 Days, Nate, Molly etc.) to fall into poorly written plot holes
I think they'd mutually respect each other's skills and pragmatic natures enough to get along at least most of the time. I have the same personality type as Lily, and liked Jane a lot.
I agree whole and whole. I think Jane and Lilly are both pretty great with survival in their own ways and care about Clem, But Lilly's a better leader, while Jane can sometimes be a pretensious, Selfish bitch.
I don't think Lilly and Jane would get along at all.
Lilly is not one to leave people to die out of selfishness or needless pragmatism, a… mores she opposes Kenny's decision to have a screaming woman be eaten by walkers to buy Lee and Kenny time to get more supplies, so Lilly would definitely be against leaving Sarah to die when she can be saved.
Lilly is more adept in survival without needlessly screwing people over so as long as she is not mentally unstable and at breaking point. She rations the food to allow the group to last longer, she teaches everyone how to use a gun, she is immediately suspicious of the St.Johns after the bandit attack and tries to get the group to leave but to no avail, supports Lee so as long as he doesn't play any part in her father's death during the Meat Locker incident, correctly deduces a traitor in the group and wants them out for the safety of the crew, and rescues the group from the bandit attack right after… [view original content]

Yeah, and racism in the real world needs battling too, but I don't go to local supermarkets with a megaphone and yell "FUCK RACISTS" for 20 minutes under the guise that I'm 'fighting it'
The first comment was spot on. Lilly was smart and only tried to do what was best for her group. Before Ben betrayed them and lied she never intended to kill or harm anyone. Lilly was a team player, and she would have fit in well with Luke's group before they were captured. But Jane has serious trust issues, she would probably betray Lilly if they were to work together.
I'm actually hoping Lilly and Christa meet at some point, those two would make a great team ^^
Honestly, I think they probably could get along. For some that like to crap all over Jane you can't really argue that she worked well in the group. Even if she didn't want to be there she did all that she could for the group until she felt she was no longer needed.
She actually discusses things and not telling you how things will be. Lily is able to talk things through too but lets her emotions crowd her judgement at times. To be honest I feel like if it came down to it Lily and Jane would work to together to ensure Clem and them are safe. It isn't the same with Lily and Kenny to be frank. Kenny was either with him or against him...there was no common ground. Lily seems mostly paranoid but rational enough to discuss some things through.

b. get along like two peas in a pod.
There is no in between.
