Personally I think another reason why Rhysha has a higher percentage in game is because of youtubers. Most of them aren't huge fans of the game like us who spend a lot of time replaying to get different choices and outcomes. They tend to play it once to upload onto their channel and then most likely never play it again, and because Sasha is constantly pushed towards Rhys and shoved (especially) in our face like in episode 3 like; "SHIP THEM DAMMIT" It's not surprising that they think Rhysha is the only option available for them (as well as their viewers who probably got the game afterwards).
For every time there is a subtle moment of Rhyiona, there will always be a more obvious scene of Rhysha.
Yeah, I really wonder why Rhysha's are always so hyped that their choice has such a high % of players. Like, to put it bluntly, stop being s… moreo oblivious. The choice was pretty much really hidden, and considering the VAST majority of players are casual players, they're pretty much gonna take whatever Telltale throws at them, so to see the % of other shippers so low is not surprising since Rhysha was practically thrown in your face for 4 episodes and a majority of that episode 5 ending.
