...dog attack you at the campsite? I know it's a crucial part of the story (the bite), I mean why would the dog attack you in the first place? I assume it was because you took it's food from it (yet it was our food... greedy bastard). Sam also seemed friendly when we were exploring the camp and it's assumed that he was brought up with a good family, so what caused the sudden attack?

    Because it's an animal instinct to attack or show aggression to those who take what is perceived to be their food, especially if an animal had no source of food for a long period of time and is teased with food only for it to be taken from them.

    So it was a purely animal thing. Cheers. I even offered him food and he knocked the can out of my hand.
