Who Is Going To Betray Rick?

enter image description here

The 150 issue comics of the Walking Dead plot description says: Betrayed.

I think it's Carl who is going to betray Rick because his love for Lydia. He going to definitely shoot Andrea or do something similar.

  • The most obvious choice is Negan, but since it's too obvious I doubt it'll be him. I'm thinking Eugene right now, this past issue (147) didn't look good for him... It could also be Carl or even Andrea. Maybe it's none of these people and it's someone totally unexpected. Either way, it seems shit's gonna hit the fan very soon and I can't wait to find out what Kirkman has in store.

  • Is Andrea not dead in the comic series?

  • She's alive in the comics, Sophia too.

  • Really? That's interesting, I'm gonna have to check out the comics. What kind of person does Sophia become?

  • You should read them, they're totally awesome. :) Sophia becomes Carl's girlfriend for a while but... well I don't wanna spoil it for you. You should check them out. ;D

  • Good call ^_^ can you tell me how old are Carl and Sophia by now? I know that Carl is not as old as he is TV series.

Carl is 13 and Sophia is 12 in the current arc in the comics (Volume 25).

  • Wait Carl's only 13? Wat. I could have sworn he's at least 16.

  • Rick's gonna finally kill Negan. Can't wait for 149.

  • He's older in the Tv show than he is in the comics. He's only 8 when the comics start, but on the show he starts out as 12 (probably to make casting easier).

  • Nah. Negan isn't going to die. If anything he is probably the solution to the problem. If they can get Negan to somehow become the Alpha of the Whisper, he can rule them. He does have leadership qualities, brute-ness, and the pack wolf mentality. All he has to do is challenge Alpha to a dual in front of her people or shame her in a humiliating way to make them seem like the most baddest badass of all. Remember, these people do think like animals they are just waiting to follow the next strongest person

  • This is true, but they have lived like this for years now. I don't think Negan is willing to throw on a walker skin and live with walkers.

    Nvm

  • Negan would just kill the ones who do that

  • It can't be Negan. Because in order to betray someone, that person must trust you first, or at least care about you. It wouldn't be betrayal, it'd be Negan being an asshole as usual. I'm guessing Eugene, Carl or Micchone, maybe even Maggie. Most likely Michonne.

  • if you read yesterday comic, your opinion will change

  • Hahaha, please. My opinion doesn't change. Maybe sometimes I think differently about a topic, but my opinion does not change, and even if it does, it does not change easily.

So rick's group is going to war.. again. I love the comics but I wouldn't mind if Robert had ended them after all out war. I'm afraid that the story is going to get repetitive and I heard that the guy wants the comic to have around 300 issues... They've been so awesome that I don't want to see them go downhill.

  • edited November 2015

I think he can easily achieve that( having 300 successful issues or more) here are some ideas

1.Exploration of the sea( that it self can be about 15 issues)

    1. Mad evil scientist group run by the last regiments of the U.S. military(300 soldiers) who do horrifying experiments to the people of the surviving communities.(25+ easily)

    2. having to adapt back to the old ways and having to survive in the open again, but with a larger group for a year because of unknown disease that plague communities causing people to fear being around people.(10-15issues)

4.a group that uses animal wild herds.( 10 issues+)

5.Rick and the gang find a ham-radio to find remaining survivors across the U.S.. All of the Walking Dead Series Merge( comics,23 year old Carl as leader of his community;telltale,Clem 25 years old councilwoman of a mega community in Mexico; novels Lily is dying on her deathbed hearing the message of the communities that are afar ) coming together to reform humanity in Little Rock Oklahoma( Population:120,000 survivors)(30 issues)

    1. Problems arise on how the many communities are going to govern the new world, causing the Civil War Of the New World( 40 issues)

  • I have never read the comics, but due to the pictures that some have posted of comic book Rick, I remember head buzzed hair and a long beard.
Did the writers say why they changed his look again?

  • Technically, they haven't. Not yet at least. We're still in the early Alexandria days from where the comics were at, and Rick more or less looked similar in the comics as he does in the show now. He just got his hair buzzed and grew out his beard a bit after (BLEEP) was killed by Negan.

I don't know, his beard looks considerably shorter than what it was.

As far as Tv Rick, I think it is a travesty that he shaved his beard and cut his hair.
Why is it seemingly that, in our society today in order to be seen as socially acceptable, a man has to be clean shaven?
It seems like if a man has a beard, and especially if he has long hair as well, that he's immediately judged to be a bum, a drug user, or even worse, a thug!

    It's not fair!
A beard is a sign of manhood.
Women, and their long hair, is seen as a physical trait of femininity, and it is totally acceptable.
So why is a beard, which a physical trait of masculinity, still deemed as unacceptable?

Technically, they haven't. Not yet at least. We're still in the early Alexandria days from where the comics were at, and Rick more or less l

  • Or he shaved his beard because it was drenched the Blood of hundreds of walkers, 15 murdered bandits, Beth, and the throat juices of some dude. Plus it was sweaty.

  • That's what a good washing will help take care of.
Remember when he took a shower, before shaving his beard?
All he would've needed to do was to shampoo his beard, along with his hair, and it would've been fine.

As far as making his beard tightier, perhaps a little trimming was in order.
But to shave if off completely, hell no!

Plus with the beard, he looked like a man who you should not fuck with!
A man that if you dare take on, chances are, you'll wind up dead.

He still does look like that kind of guy to me. And besides, His beard will grow back anyway, and it was Rick's choice to shave it (Rick's character at least. It was the writers who made the call). He'll have it back in time, trust me.
