Who will die at the hands of Negan?
Since the show doesn't really follow the comics, my guess is Carol.
To me, that would explain the unusual character persona change in season 5.
Also, she seems like the most disposable character in the group. Along with Abraham.
What do you guys think?

It has to be a fan favourite, the only people I can think of are Glenn and Daryl, Glenn's dead (he better be) and I don't think the writers are brave enough to kill Daryl because their worried about how fans would react.
Carol is a fan favorite and easily the most disposable.
I don't see her as disposable but I get your point. I feel like Negan should kill one of the more 'moral' characters.
I doubt it's Rick or Daryl ...
My guesses are
1) Carol
2) Glenn
3) Maggie/or the baby
Spoiler in the title dude, but I really can't stress enough how much I want it to be Glenn. Not because I hate him or anything, who doesn't love Glenn. But it's because that first scene with Negan really defined the Walking Dead for me, and I think it needs to follow every word as closely as possible, like how they did the "tainted meat" scene with Bob.
Hard to tell. Maybe no one. They'll make him repeat fudge or sugar in every sentence. This stuff will kill Negan fast.
Possibilities are Daryl, Glenn, Morgan, Carol and Maggie.
If they build up Daryl's relationship with Carol in the 2nd half again, I could see it being him as they really haven't been visibly close in a while.
Glenn because his death is iconic, but then again, when has TWD stuck with the comics in terms of main character deaths? They haven't.
Another possibility is Morgan. Why else would he have an hour flashback episode to be killed off? Similar to the Governor and Beth, imo.
My guesses are Daryl and the baby. I mean, I really wonder how long will the baby be in the show. I don't know why, but I just want to see when Rick has to lose his baby.
Is it really? I figured since the episode hasn't happened yet, nor the show follows the comics..
which baby? There's twoooo babies
I would have chose Daryl to the chopping block. For Negan to make a big impact, killing the quintessential fan favorite character would be my best bet. Glenn was a fan favorite in the comics, but he still died all the same, so Daryl's status in the fandom shouldn't affect the show's ratings at all if he dies.
Morgan is a poor choice given how negative the feedback his role in Season 6 has gathered, and I'd imagine that most would rather cheer Negan on as he's bludgeoned to death, which would lessen the impact. Also, Morgan had just been given some screen-time recently for character development, killing him off directly afterwards would make it seem that the writers are running the theme that characters who are about to get some development or redemption immediately gets offed for cheap drama.
Glenn's death by Negan's hand, presuming that he actually survived earlier, would also feel forced given how he survived the herd scene by pure dumb luck only for him to be screwed over completely the next event. It would be a major ironic moment, sure, but it would end up cheapening his first 'death'.
It follows the comics loosely. The main plot line is still going to be there, just warped into other character's arcs.
I think its going to be Carol or Morgan. Carol just because she's from original group, and Morgan because he is now "moral compass". Rick will understand why Morgan doesn't kill people and this is why Rick spare Negan.
My money's on Daryl, I don't see anyone else that could leave such a huge impact if they were to die.
Daryl makes the most sense to me. Besides, the pure amount of controversy that would stir up would be insane. Negan, from his first introduction, would immediately become the most hated character on the show, and probably one of the most hated characters on TV. All from the very first episode he appears in.
Daryl, please. Stay away from Carol, and Glenn(not dead).
They said Carol is the safest on the show
Daryl if they really want to make Negan hated right away
I can't really see another option besides Daryl.
If it is Daryl, then who would he call out to as he dies? Glenn's death was very heavy, but the way he died was just WOW.

I think it will be Daryl. I want it to be Carol.
well, lets say that glenn is dead, which he should be, id say carol. hear me out. carol is by FAR the most develop character in the show, i dont think they can do more with her. and she has BY FAR improved her comicbook counter part and has outlived her by so much you would think shes a different character. and really she is this is not carol from the comics this is a new carol. well ok wtf does all this has to do with anything. well we seen carol do a lot of damage to the groups who have tried to fuck with her friends, so here the saviors got presented, and the whole groups starts debating, it seems jesus is gonna be one trying to discuss since it seems like he's been already cast and all of that, well carol decides to take it on her own just like Terminus, and shes succeeding but she gets trapped, or she killed some saviors and got away and like the comics they get ambush and then bam, carol is chosen.
idk
I think that Glenn somehow survived, I don't know how.. but somehow... I think right when he comes back and reunites with everyone is when Negan will Lucille him in the season 6 finale.
Daryl is another choice but I still don't think they have the balls to do it.. would love to be proven wrong though..
When it happens it can't be on a minor character, otherwise it would take the effect out of it.
No idea, but i hope its coral.
They don't have the balls to kill Daryl. That be pretty awesome to see though. I hope I'm proven wrong.
Come to think of it, which main character, besides Hershel, has died at the hands of a villain? I'm not sure if we should count Beth since she was stupid as fuck..
They're probably going to take a shortcut and have him kill 3 instead of 1. Like Morgan, Abraham, Eugene, etc..
Yeah, you have to wonder do they have balls to kill Daryl, I highly doubt that.
Merle at the hands of The Governor
Please Daryl
I think it'll be Morgan or Abraham. They're the "safest" options, besides they'll probably outlive their comic counterparts.
If Abraham gets killed by Negan, who do you think Dwight would kill instead?
I'm thinking maybe Tara, but I could be wrong. There was a scene in S5E14 with Eugene and Tara that resembled that part from the comics, and I think it foreshadowed a bit.
I can totally see that coming.
I really don't know what they have planned for her to be honest, as she wasn't in the comics and had a minor role in the novels.
Morgan seems the most likely to my mind. Like someone else has said, it would set up the stupid as fuck plot point of Rick letting Negan live, and at least this time the statement, "It's what (insert character here) would have wanted", would actually be true. Plus, Lennie James is a very busy actor, and I don't know if we can expect him to stay on for too long, assuming he even makes it to the finale.
On the other hand, killing Glenn off that way would be a very decent shock after his earlier brush with death. Someone said that it would cheapen his first "death", but honestly, that "death" is already cheapened by his survival. Hell, even if he ended up dead, it's getting to the point that no one really cares about his "death" anymore, and just want to know what happened to him so we can get things moving again. This whole Glenn thing was a very stupid and ill-advised direction to take. So much so that Glenn dying his comic death with Negan would actually rectify it at least a bit by making it clear that his supposed death in "Thank You" was all a ruse by the writers to catch us off guard by his real death, rather than just a big waste of our time.
No one else seems as likely as those two to me.
That's it? Andrea, Hershel, and Merle?
For sure.. I'm thinking it's Glenn now.
It wasn't a 'ruse' im convinced it was the plan all along. This whole thing was made to make sure that Gleen dying would have the impact it has in the comics. The only way to do that is to 'kill' him and see how big the reaction is. It can't be a coincidence that the controversy was made to take place before the shooting of the last episode. You know the one were Negan shows up. It just makes sense for a writter like Nicotero to think this far ahead due to the conserns of comic fans that the death would'nt have that much impact.
Ithink they has Morgan or Daryl as a second option.
