[S3] Would anyone else like it if...

...The first episode of season 3 is almost completely unique depending on your S2 ending and then have everyone at the same narrative point about half way through the second episode ? I think it would solve the multiple endings thing without making your choices feel meaningless or as if you got the wrong ending.
It will be hard work for the TellTale team but I think TWD deserves it. It seems like the best way to bring Clem back.
what do people think? or what do you think is the best way to start the season?

  • The best way to make the endings matter is to have a new protagonist. A fresh start from a different point of view.

  • I would love for there to be different first episodes and for S3 to be a 6 episode season, that way you still have 5 episodes for the rest of the season, without wasting an episode trying to get everyone back on track. Each episode comes with it's own set of choices, which will have some sort of impact later in the season. Only question is what to do with Kenny or Jane, I would like it if they were to stay alive, but chances are that, if they were, they would be pushed into the background like most Telltale determinant characters, and knowing both character's personalities (especially Kenny's), that's not going to happen. Then again, the only other option is to have them die in the first episode at some point. I'd rather go with the latter than have both characters get the Nick treatment. I do believe this is possible, if Telltale can make 2 completely different intros for Minecraft in the span of a couple of weeks, they can make multiple first episodes in well over a year.

  • Im kinda hoping that Telltale is going all out and making season 3 have multiple stories, thus why its not coming out until (late?) 2016, with Michone in between to keep fans busy.

  • That would be a dream come true.

  • Honestly, I can't agree with you. It wouldn't be The Walking Dead without Clem and if she is involved in the story then why not just let us play as her. They should make a spin off game if they are going to do that.

telltale side she's almost 11. Clementine did not know that two years have passed, she missed several months.

  • Telltale never said she was 'almost 11.'

Telltale made the decision to make Clementine say she's 11. So, she's 11.

  • I don't think it would be unreasonable if only a few scenes or even one scene was divergent based on the endings and then they tied together. It would be best if S3 focused on a singular story.

  • she's 10

    She's 11

  • 10

She is a little girl, yes. But an 11 year old little girl.

  • She can literally say "I'm eleven."

  • What do not you understand? Clementine is not 11, it is 10 ... Already several of their videos they said it. Clementine is a little girl! She does not know if it was just two years! (Not passed) says 11, as you will not yet 17 and 17. But you say you are 16! Get it?

  • So what you're saying is 12?

    11. 1 1. Eleven. E l e v e n. E L E V E N. E L E V E N.

  • yeah but that singular story could begin in the second episode

  • I think what you really mean is 12 and a half.

So what you're saying is 12?

  • Despite the fact that Clem is clearly 11, even if she was "10" she would only be about a month away from being 11.
