Oh well I'm sorry if this has already been debated, I just haven't been on these forums every single day since S2 finished to know what topics have already been discussed.

The fact that people actually feel the need to rant about this crap knowing that it's been said a millions times before in other threads and threads of their own, makes me hurl. Seriously, we get it now.

  • Pro Clem threads and Anti Clem threads in a nutshell

  • And LEE would'd gotten LUCKY instead

I do agree that Kenny was an annoying repetitive asshole in S2, like most. Wish he'd stayed dead.

  • Lol she barely even exists in S1.

All she was there for in S1 is to tell Stranger about Lee and the group, kill Lee in the process, then become the PC.

The only thing she ever talked about in S1 was her parents.

Clementine has always been boring. The only things interesting about her is her ability to keep plot armour longer than 2 seasons, and whether or not she'll even be in S3.

Yikes! She's still around because she is TWDG. Lee was the protagonist in S1, sure. But Clem was the focus. W/o her, S1 wouldn't have bee

  • They all clicked like because they agree that playing as Clementine SUCKS of course.

Why do people who like the Clementine, click "liked" I do not understand. 19 love it, and there are users who love Clementine, why do you press you love?

  • She was the concept. S1 was built around her.

I don't mind. It's kind of irrelevant, actually. I like playing as a dinosaur on Dino D-Day. What matters more is story, gameplay, and so on.

Also, if every game has adult men as protagonists, then they are going to be the only successful ones.

Except for, you know, Tomb Raider, Metroid, etc.

Because they're the successful ones. Who would want to play as a little girl? AGAIN

  • Does that make her less boring?

Tommy Wiseau's story was centered around Johnny, does that mean it's good?

  • She's not boring, imo, so idk. All I was originally saying is, Clementine is TWDG. She was with us from inception, she should be with us until the final, finale of "The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series". Even though I hope they never end it(same goes for the show and comic).

But hey, this is just my opinion. I know there a lot of people who are sick of Clementine, and want to start from scratch, and I can respect that. I don't understand it, but I can respect it. I just try and voice my countering opinion, because I can't help myself.

This is a thread about how much Clem sucks, and I can't stop myself from defending her.

  • You started talking about AJ being an ugly baby when it's based on a baby. That's kind of mean.

Talk like the character based on the little girl.

Never said I didn't like her, I'm just bored of her. I don't really see anything thing else to add to her story arc. 4/5 endings I'm okay with it being it the end of the story, but the one with accepting the family i can see adding from that somehow. The rest look like closure to her arc to me.

I used to be all for Clem, she was my favorite. But I've grown bored and want something new.

If that means waiting after every season to play something refreshing and not bland, and a interesting DLC/mini series, then I'm fine with it.

  • i love clem and i love play as her because It is fascinating to feel a little girl zombie apocalypse world. How she copes with all this ... very young age. I think to play someone older, it's boring ... it's just my opinion (:

  • I was fine with her in All That Remains. But as each episode progressed it got worse. You see, All That Remains was mostly about her and the cabin group. She got to talk about Lee, her parents, and how she ended up alone to Luke. The episode felt realistic because the adults didn't rely on her for anything, they didn't trust her, and they treated her as any other person they would find out in the woods. I particularly liked this episode because I actually felt helpless while playing as her. I was worried for her. When she was in the woods by herself, she struggled. Just like a child living in a world like that would. A House Divided came along, and that's where things got shaky. Everyone suddenly starts to like her, and grow very dependent on her (don't even get me started on the wind turbine scene). Things turn for the worse, she's suddenly this unrealistic, superhero, invincible girl that does everything for anyone when told to do so. The attention is then taken off of her. She just becomes a person we play as. Nothing else. That struggling girl in All That Remains disappears. And all we're left with by No Going Back is a sleepy voiced, unrealistic, character that we play as.

  • It excited me ... this little girl is so amazing ...
