It might be just me, but it's become a bad habit of some people to just randomly post that under every tweet of Telltale, really annoying to be honest. This was TWD related at least, but do people not even know about Michonne because they're so fixated on Season 3? How would they otherwise miss this obvious hint?
Do you think it has a chance of getting 5 episodes like a full proper season? I noticed in the game awards video that the title for the series wasn't referred to as 'mini-series' anymore, just Michonne.

Nope, it's still a mini series I'm sure. Part of the delay probably came from making sure people could play the game independently of Walking Dead: Season 2.
Wait, huh? Maybe I was wrong. This is all interesting.
I don't mind this particular series (possibly) becoming a full five episode series, but I am a little curious about how a mini series would have turned out as a first for Telltale.
If there are 5 episodes I doubt it will delay it until March as they will mainly be working on the first episode, I am guessing January is a more likely release month.
I'm no expert when it comes to programming, but I'm pretty sure only making it independant of another game shouldn't take more than a few days or so at most. Unless you mean there's been rewrites.

If this does become a whole series as opposed to a three episode mini series, maybe they extended it so they could have more time to work on Season 3 and to keep Telltale Walking Dead fans occupied?
EDIT: This is confirmed to be wrong; see Deltino's post below.
If there are indeed more episodes, this could probably tie in with S3 more than we thought. It would certainly help them to bring the game and comic closer together.
Was this always the plan or a decision made recently? Either way, the delay sucks but this is VERY interesting!
It's also cool because I fancy them to make an awesome story out of this now with 5 episodes as opposed to 3.
Oooor, we could go to Telltale headquarters, kidnap somebody on their coffee break by luring them out with a decaf, and then sing Justin Bieber off key loudly until they crack and tell us all they know =D
3 episodes? Hype is dead...I repeat hype is dead
I mean I'm still excited, but 5 episodes could've been fun.

Ehhhhhhhhh...
I don't know what your talking about, but I haven't played a Telltale episode with filler in it and I've played like almost all of their series.
If they initially designed it to be content that required Season 2 as a backend to play it, it probably took more time than you think. It's usually not as simple as extracting by copy/pasting all your work onto a stand alone game instead of DLC.

I just discovered the recent news concerning the game and I'm disappointed the game won't release this year as promised. I'm still excited to play it though. Also, I'm worried that if they decide to make 5 episodes instead of 3 it will delay the release of season 3 which I wouldn't like. This dlc was supposed to help us wait for season 3 not delay it even longer.

I guess it's a possibility but we will need to wait until the game awards trailer to see if it has more information.
Little "mini-series" is all grown up. ;.;
Still though, I'm a bit miffed they're not releasing it by "this fall" like they've been saying they would for months! Jeez. >.<
Oh man I hope 5 episodes doesn't delay the game until March or some shit.

It's the apocalypse it wouldn't make sense for her lips to not be chapped.

No TWD this year...

It's a forum, it makes sense to make a joke.
Christ.
Michonne wasn't happy with the 'mini' part and... convinced them to drop it
Sorry, It's pretty hard to detect someone's tone from a text post.
Job just confirmed that it's still going to be a 3 episode series.
Looks like it's still going to be three episodes

Waiting..
Hmm, interesting. They might've removed mini series solely because it's standalone now and not because they increased the quantity of episodes.
5 Episodes could also mean more Filler.
Ehhhhhhhhh...

GoT EP. 5. It's of course Not All Filler But gareds Part was filler.

Fortunately, you also had three other characters to play as in that episode.
Aint nobody got time for that. Worry about finding food.
oMG FUCK YES pUSSEY!!!

It's been officially confirmed it's only 3 episodes.
So next year guys. A bit disappointing, but you know, it's alright.
I'm a bit confused though. It was always 3 episodes? Did people not know that or did I miss something today that confused people?
Also guys, Pierre Shorette, Mark Darin, Nicole Martinez... that's one hell of a writing team
I love herrr!!! ;.;
bwahaha!
